LibreOffice 6.2 is now ready for business use

LibreOffice 6.2.2

The Document Foundation announced the launch of the 6.2th maintenance update for LibreOffice XNUMX, setting the standard for the series to be used in business environments and by novice users.

Coming five weeks after LibreOffice 6.2.5, this sixth update is here to add month-long fixes and the latest security updates to make the office suite traditional stable and reliable.

That is why The Document Foundation now recommends the LibreOffice series for novice users and business installations. LibreOffice 6.2.6 includes a total of 44 changes.

The next planned stage of LibreOffice 6.2 will be LibreOffice 6.2.7, a maintenance update scheduled for mid-October this year with minor fixes. After that, support for LibreOffice will continue until November 30, 2019, but they will not be released traditional security updates in that time.

Until then, if you are using LibreOffice 6.1, which reached the end of its cycle on May 29, or the LibreOffice 6.2 series, we recommend updating to version 6.2.6 as soon as possible. You can download LibreOffice 6.2.6 from the Official Site for Linux, MacOS and Windows.

LibreOffice 6.3 version also arrived this month, but The Document Foundation only recommends this version to enthusiasts and advanced users, in the same way its download is available from the official website. LibreOffice 6.3.1 will arrive at the end of the month.
