Lincity: Simcity clone for Linux

Do you remember the SimCity? Well, LinCity-NG is a game of open source based on this classic of classics that many of us have dedicated so many hours to. If for some reason you don't know the game, this is a fun simulator in which we will put ourselves in the shoes of the mayor or maximum representative of a city, trying to make it evolve until it reaches turn it into a superurban.

The goal is to achieve a sustainable city, or build a rocket to escape from it, when the pollution becomes unbearable. Some constructions and mechanisms of the game help the sustainability of the city (such as solar power plants or recycling centers), and others are inherently unsustainable (such as uncontrolled landfills or import-export).

During the course of the game, progress is made in technology (especially with the help of the construction and maintenance of colleges and universities), which makes new constructions available to the player. Meanwhile, (limited) natural resources are being consumed and pollution is accumulating.

Building homes and ensuring that residents do not lack anything, creating industries that generate jobs and supply the city with energy, food and other primary goods, build hospitals, schools, monuments ... everything can be done in LinCity-NG.

To begin, we can choose different options: start with a city in a prosperous time, another going through bad times, or start on an empty board by laying the first stone of what will undoubtedly become a historical city.
