LinuxConsole is a Linux distribution coming loaded with a wide range of software and games open source, with a focus on kids and old computers. LinuxConsole also provides support for many new and old graphics cards.

Among its main features we can highlight the easy installation of this distribution, it has a wide selection of software in the form of modules and excellent hardware detection.

Linux Console 2.5 brings updated components, like the Linux kernel 4.9.66 LTS for 64-bit version and Linux kernel 4.1.48 LTS for 32-bit version.

The developer of this distribution shared a small comment about this new release of their distribution.

This distribution has remained steadfast in offering the user easy installation either as a single system on the computer or also together with other operating systems.

In this new version LinuxConsole 2.5 brings to the MATE 1.18 desktop environment as a standard desktop, allowing management of Bluetooth devices and simplifying wireless network setup.

It also comes with the Mozilla Firefox 57 Quantum web browser as the default browser on the system.
