While hopes are housed Xfce 4.12 is released soon, the desk born from the union between LXDE and Razor-Qt launches Your 0.9.0 version.
The main change it is the abandonment of compatibility with QT4, and the requirement of QT 5.3 as a minimum. They also add as dependencies some elements of KDE frameworks: KWindowSystem comes in instead of XFitMan and they say that this will help improve compatibility with Wayland, and KGuiAddons becomes a dependency of lxqt-panel.
There are also changes in the themes, the background of the panel is configurable, the main menu can already be used with the keyboard, and not much else. Ah, if you use QT 5.4, there are some regressions that in version 5.4.1 will be resolved.

I am a KDE user, but I am willing to migrate to LXQT. No desktop attracts my attention so much, I just wait for its stable version to be available.
Greetings.
It really looks great LXQT!
What is the distro based on?
It is not a distro. It is an environment.
