What is Crypto-jou?
It is a free program, developed with the Basic programming language on the Gambas Linux compiler and interprets, making use of the Gtk3 graphic libraries.
This program is a symmetric encryption and file extractor that manipulates the commands of the gpg program, securing the selected content with a password.
Crypto-jou functionalities
It has a menu which tells you if you want to encrypt files or if you want to extract an encrypted gpg file, if you want to encrypt a file go to the File menu where it says: (Open and Encrypt file with gpg) after being loaded you will only be asked The mandatory password 2 times to avoid mistakes, then you will have the option enabled to activate encryption, which is Off, click and this will go to On encryption ready.
If you want to extract the encrypted gpg file then load it in the File menu where it says: (Open and extract encrypted gpg file) which will only ask you for the password that you should already know to validate the extraction of the file, then click on the Encrypted file option and extraction will be set from On to Off when the extraction was successful.
