MooGNU, the free Nyan cat

Sep, we free software users are really serious, we like to do things our way and this time it was Nyan cat xD's turn.

MoonGNU is a super fun wink that would be a free fork (?) Of the Nyan cat. In fact it is a simple collaborative work to leave an interesting wink available to anyone since the kitten has copyright and they do not allow it to be used in anything (God, what they get for getting money from something that was born out of sheer vagrancy and leisure).

Anyway, it should be noted that the Nyan cat was proposed as a mascot for MATE, the Gnome2 fork (I don't understand what they have to do with each other) but due to copyright issues, it couldn't. Well, now there is no problem since the Gnome2 fork is going to have a pet that is also a fork, but of the Nyan cat xD

Here the expected MooGNU:

It makes me laugh because the Nyan cat has nothing special either, this is a joke because I don't know, it looks weird xD

Even so, it continues to violate copyright. "Although the cat dresses as a wildebeest, the cat stays"

Not in fact because the copyright is in the name, Nyan Cat

That's right, you are partly right, but it varies from country to country. In Mexico, for example, it could not, because the work is considered as a whole (name, content, music, image, text, interpretation, etc.). In such a way that this image could be considered (only in case there was a demand involved) a modification (not allowed) of the original Nyamcat.
In the United States, I believe that even ideas are copyrighted.
In general, copyright nowadays seems archaic and even ridiculous to me, in an open world like today. How is culture allowed to be so "closed"?

Horrible is to say the least.

In fact it is quite creative, on the one hand the GNU Wildebeest flying in the GNU universe and on the other the classical music by Stallman and Free Software, quite symbolic I must say.
