MX-Linux 17.1: An Amazing Distro!

MX-Linux is a GNU / Linux Distro developed from cooperative development between the existing communities of the "antiX" Distros and the former "MEPIS". Both have brought you the best of their tools and talents.

This has resulted in MX-Linux is currently a "medium weight" Operating System designed with an elegant and efficient desktop but with a simple configuration., with high stability, solid performance, and average size ISO. But what makes it most attractive is its DVD / USB customization, packaging and portability capabilities to create new Distros based on it.

Recommendation

I use pure MX Linux on my personal home computer, and I use it merged with Ubuntu 18.04 creating together with Systemback a Distro called MinerOS GNU / Linux. But MX-Linux itself is a very easy to use and very powerful Distro that does an excellent job without including an unnecessary amount of external or additional software.

MX Linux has in its favor a good collection of its own applications that make it definitely a very special Distro that saves time, especially less experienced users. And keeping support for both 32-bit and 64-bit architecture alongside Non-PAE kernels is definitely a wonderful incentive in a modern GNU / Linux distribution.

Finally, I recommend that you watch the following video to see the potential of this latest version of MX-Linux.
