That is a desk or a mess .. Nothing partner, you know that I can't stand your desk loaded with unnecessary things. And the dock on top of the panel is a mess.

    1.    Courage said

I can't agree more about the dock

      1.    KZKG ^ Gaara said

Let's see son, the dock isn't always there in front of everything ... it would be crazy 😀

  3.   MetalByte said

Well, first of all sincerity, right? xD I join the appreciation of elav and Courage ... it's outrageous, also with such a small monitor ... Anyway, for color tastes that is said 😉

    A greeting!

    1.    KZKG ^ Gaara said

Sure man sincerity above all ^ _ ^
Yes, the monitor is my laptop's so I can't do anything about it, but I don't like such a big laptop either.

With that last thing you say, there you have hit the nail on the head 😀

Too much information and competing elements, they are also right elav y Courage; having two docks together should create a serious conflict with your escape angle.

    1.    KZKG ^ Gaara said

Not really, because the dock is always hidden, it appears when I need to open an application immediately.

    2.    elav <° Linux said

I think he has conflicts with all the angles .. Sometimes I think he is missing a screw xD xD

      1.    Courage said

      1.    KZKG ^ Gaara said

I don't know where the hell you get that I don't have a social life, that neither (and luckily) we are not brothers, you don't know everything I do ... or that you were a fortune teller.
What happens is that you like to bother me hehe ... and what do I do &> / dev / null to all the output that comes out of you, you see me 😀

what? ... hehe now we will have a lot of fun, because I go on the offensive to be a ballplayer as we already know who JUAZ JUAZ JUAZ !!

          3.    moskosov said

now cashe why do they call you the sandy hahahaha

            1.    KZKG ^ Gaara said

Because the anime character from which I got my nickname and this avatar lives in a sand village (desert) and his ability is to control the sand. Neither the water is clearer hahahahaha.

          4.    moskosov said

Of course for people who watch anime, I think the last thing I saw were the super champions as a kid.

          5.    pandev92 said

Gara, that character will not be from fail naruto NO XD?

            1.    KZKG ^ Gaara said

Yes, it's from Naruto. And for the record, it is not the anime / manga that I like the most.

Before I had it like this:
    https://blog.desdelinux.net/wp-content/uploads/2012/01/kzkggaara-screenshot-enero-2012_clean.png

But I don't know ... I kind of noticed that I needed a change, that's why I put conky on it.

    1.    Courage said

Well, the calendar and the other two squares there look like the ... Better on one side and not like that

    2.    Oscar said

Do not stop the carcamales, they criticize you because they are consuming themselves in envy, on the other hand, the laptop is yours and you do what you want with yours, each one is the owner of doing their own thing. a dick, hahahahaha.

      1.    KZKG ^ Gaara said

HAHAHA me? ... let's see, if I showed my desktop it is because I like it, because my criteria and very personal taste is pleasant when I see my desktop.
Also to later use this example post to articles that I will write in the future.

Nah, "envy" is not the right word hahaha.
And ... that last, hahahahahahahaha curious metaphor LOL !!!

      2.    elav <° Linux said

Hahahaha it's true, you can do whatever you want with your laptop .. But damn, do it in private, don't show that desktop disaster xD xD

        1.    Oscar said

Envy, pure envy… between us, I don't like it but someone has to support poor Gaara.

  8.   Erythrym said

So you finished it, huh? I like it, the tones are great and the wallpaper was perfect for you! I like the conky a lot (you know that today I tried to change it and I loaded it HAHAHAHA) although I agree with the others, the dock might be better to put it stuck above or to the left, I think it would be more useful like that! As for the Rainlendar, I never liked having so much on the desktop, but if you need to have it on hand, nothing happens, it is not so overloaded (I have seen MUCH worse things)

    1.    KZKG ^ Gaara said

Actually, I have to see how CoverGloobus fits, not because it looks cute but because I made a skin for it that makes things much easier for me when I want to change the song in the player.
Did you destroy it? … Haha yes conky is a saint HAHA. Nothing, you pass me the error it gives you and I help you fix it.

The issue with rainlendar is that I need it, otherwise since I have many things in my head, then I leave several issues for last, I forget that X day is fulfilled Y things and such.

I repeat hahahahahahahaha, the dock is not shown unless I remove it with the pointer, otherwise it is not seen 😉

      Greetings bro.

      1.    Erythrym said

The worst thing is that it does not show me any error, when I start it it gives me the same as when I had the previous configuration, but now it does not appear!
The dock already I suppose that it will only appear when you remove it with the pointer, I also have it like that, but I don't know, it seems uncomfortable, but it's all a matter of being used to it 😉

    2.    VaryHeavy said

I agree, I have also seen desktops much worse and ten thousand times more overloaded ... most of the people I know with Windows desktops, I don't know why, but they have a disastrous habit of putting EVERYTHING on the desktop, not just access to ALL applications, but also all kinds of files and folders… those desktops are chaos, this one next door is nice.

      1.    KZKG ^ Gaara said

It seems to me that you and I know the same people HAHAHAHA.
Yes, I hate that the desktop is with icons, I can't stand it ¬_¬

        regards

    3.    elav <° Linux said

Both Conky and Railendar for me are two applications something ... like saying ... absurd .. That is, if you are one of those who spend your life with all minimized applications, contemplating how beautiful your Wallpaper looks, then if they are useful. But if we always have a window on them, what good is it to us? We then have to minimize everything to see what interests us. I don't know, I don't see it useful.

It is better to have something that notifies you on the days indicated by libnotify for example and to have the performance statistics somewhere visible, let's say the panel.

      1.    KZKG ^ Gaara said

I switch desk and haha, I already have all the stats I want.
When I want to add something to do or an event that I have to remember, I minimize or change the desktop and bingo, I already have it there at hand.

This is not the same as ... having to open an application and wait a few moments / seconds for it to open (which I hate)

A desk is this, not old Gaara's mess: http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/716/gdm2s.png/

That by the way I lost that fund and I have not found it again, so do not ask me hahahaha

    1.    moskosov said

But what a pleasure they find in crushing the poor man, why is it that they are such beasts for criticism, see that there are some who think from XP and for that if you have to have personality, I particularly found the desktop overloaded and with colors that They seem like traffic lights, but what is it, if there is no correct desktop paradigm and everyone configures it as they want for the uses they want, if the man wants to put 4 docks, 1 per side and conkys even behind the laptop is up to him .

      1.    Courage said

It is to screw him a little haha, because I always get my balls in the chat hahahaha.

The Hasefroch XD thing is momentary, let's see what I can fix the other one

Is that your girlfriend's desk? hehehehehehe.

      1.    Courage said

I'm sure it's going to be my girlfriend's because I'm still in line with that little theme.

It was the last Linux desktop I had before my computer screwed up (or burned me like hell)

  12.   Saito said

Wow, I've wanted to see your desktop using KDE: D for a long time, I like that style: P. By the way friend, I wanted to install The Rainlendar on my Kubuntu and I want to install themes but I don't know how to do it in this environment, in Ubuntu it made it easy by dragging the Skin to the calendar, but in KDE it doesn't let me. Do you know any way to install themes for Rainlendar?
    Regards!

    1.    KZKG ^ Gaara said

      How about 😀
To install skins to Rainlendar2 you just have to copy them in the folder skins of the application.
Check into / Usr / share / Let's see if there is a folder that says rainlendar or something.

      regards

It looks very good I don't know why they criticize you so much around here if you only use it as a launcher but hey I only have one question. What is your laptop? Because you can see that Arch is doing very well in it and I also want to switch to Arch although now I'm in Mageia.

    Greetings.

My laptop is a HP Compaq tc4400, the modem it brings is somewhat complex to make it work on Linux. In addition to being a laptop, it is a Tablet (since the screen is touch but not with the fingers, but with a pen) and the drivers for this mode are without problems in the repo.

It has a 2GHz Core2.16Duo, currently 2GB of RAM in DualChannel (officially it only brings 1GB of RAM in DualChannel), and it has no video from Nvidia or Ati, it is a 945 with 128MB of onboard video.

Good your help plisss I have been with Linux since 7.04 but for work reasons I always have to put the Xp to pass iOS, OS and other software to mobile phones, but I have the Compaq tc4400 and I do not know with which linux iso will be better, I e pretty downgraded if you help me where I can locate the best ios and wacom settings.
    Thank you

    1.    KZKG ^ Gaara said

      Hello there,
I'm sorry to inform you that some models of the HP T series have a certain wacom-related flaw, and the one you have (I still have a tc4400) is one of them. Look at this post I made in my previous blog, there I explain what error is the one they bring: http://kzkggaara.wordpress.com/2010/11/29/problema-con-mousepuntero-medio-loco-en-laptops-hp/

Now, about which Linux distro to use, well ... first to know what you normally do on the laptop, because I could recommend Ubuntu 10.04, Kubuntu, Linux Mint, various options as you can see 🙂

      Greetings and good luck friend.

      1.    Hee pee said

Too bad with what I like Ubuntu and that it is not yet 100% compatible with wacom, and validate your blog I will try to see what it is and I will tell you since I see you understand a lot about the subject.
        regards

        1.    KZKG ^ Gaara said

As such the problem you see in that post is not Ubuntu, it is hardware as such 🙁
Ubuntu is compatible with the HP tc4400, in fact I used it myself for a long time, and as things are at this precise moment I go and use it again.

You can see me now ... WindowsXP ¬_¬ ...

I don't know where they get that Debian is stable, Arch gave me serious stability problems after months, while Debian Testing gave them to me after 2 days… incredible…
But nothing, now the defenders of Debian will say that it is my computer, that it is not the fault of the distro or is it? … LOL!!!

Hi Garaa, man I'm starting with Arch, the truth is I love this distro, along with debian mint they have been the ones I like, but what a difficult pod to install was the Arch for me, but I like it that way, you learn a lot, well I would like put my desktop my way, but at the moment I could not, because I am new to Linux yet, I would like to know how to put the start icon with the Arch logo since as I have KDE it comes out by default this same. Thank you very much in advance compa !! greetings to all of Colombia.

    1.    KZKG ^ Gaara said

Hello how are you, sorry for the delay in answering you.
haha don't worry, changing the icon is really simple:
      1. Right click on the icon.
      2. Application Launcher Preferences.
      3. Click on the icon and a «Browse» will open, there you look for the icon you want to put and voila 😀

What is simple and cool KDE? … LOL!!

Don't worry, we are here to help.
In fact, our forum will be very helpful to you 😉 - » http://foro.desdelinux.net
