New ASUS F201E netbook with Ubuntu pre-installed

 Asus has decided to launch on October 26 an interesting netbook which it has baptized with the name F201E, which will come by default with Windows 8 or with Ubuntu.

Windows 8

As you can see, it comes in 3 colors (white, blue or red) and the price ranges go from 299 to 359 euros, depending on the specifications and the chosen operating system.

By equipping the Asus F201E with Ubuntu an open source operating system, Asus can keep the price low. This is because there is no need to pay for the Microsoft Windows operating system license, although it is very likely that it will be possible to install Windows or other operating systems if you are not a fan of Ubuntu.

    If the math doesn't fail me, there are two models - the rest are colors, in MS WOS and only one in Ubuntu and the difference is € 60 since 359 - 299 = 60

    And in Atoms and Celerones if we put one next to the other, with a bit of multitasking the difference is abysmal in favor of Ubuntu. Hopefully the two models are physically in stores.

    with ubuntu it is 30 - 50 € cheaper and 100 times better!
