The announcement is already official and the changes are not relevant, but we already have version 8 of the browser and the email client of Mozilla:

Thunderbird:

  • Thunderbird is based on Mozilla's new engine: Gecko 8.

  • New search and keyboard shortcuts.

Firefox:
