Available «Officially» to download Firefox 11

Well despite delays, can now be officially downloaded Mozilla Web Browser version 11, which I have been using since yesterday and I must say, I do not notice anything new as a user.

The changes for this version are:

  • Firefox can import Bookmarks, History and Cookies from Google Chrome.
  • Now using Sync, extensions can be synchronized, across multiple computers.
  • Support for text-size-adjust property.
  • outerHTML property supports HTML elements.
  • To highlight the syntax of the code, use the HTML5 parser.
  • The Style Editor is available for web developers.
  • Web developers can now view a page in 3D using the Page Inspector 3D View.
  • Added SPDY protocol, so that pages load even faster.
  • XMLHttpRequest now supports HTML parsing.
  • Files can be stored in IndexedDB.
  • Improved WebSocket support.
  • New design of the controls for HTML5 video.
  • Notifications in Firefox may not work properly if Growl 1.3 or later is used.
  • Fixed different problems of Security.

You can download it from the site Mozilla.

They release new versions so quickly with so few changes, it's not even worth talking about

But the worst is the matter of some extensions. That and with each update I get Firefox and Thunderbird in English, and I have to find them a specific XPI in Spanish, since otherwise the language does not change ...

Well, I don't have those problems, in debian testing

      regards

In the derivatives of Debian it did not happen to me, but since I am in Arch, and before in Chakra, I have that little problem. I have even tried modifications to the About: config. Unsolved mysteries.

Well, I find that they would have to release new versions when there were new outstanding features, to remove it as if I do not see it well, but the problem of heaviness has not been solved

Well, the appearance similar to google chrome was not activated…. I'll stick to the one that comes with the default Tango if I'm not mistaken.
