Open Street Map is a free alternative to the map services of Google, Bing and others, which allows anyone to view, edit and use geographic information collaboratively from anywhere in the world. |
We can find many routes, places, cities and everything we want to search around the world from our browser and with the option of collaborating when you think that an address, city or something similar is freely missing.
OpenStreetMap is a project expressly aimed at creating and offering free geographic data, such as street plans, to anyone who wants it. The project began because many maps that are believed to be free actually have legal or technical restrictions on their use, preventing anyone from using them creatively, productively, or unexpectedly.
It has a wiki where we can find information to support the project or to learn how to better use these free maps.
