Greetings All:
This is one of those comments in which one paints a world, which in each country / region is different but in the end it is what all individuals want or at least it is my wish.
Countless resources invested in the payment of licenses in order to keep an institution (a ministry) working, claiming that tools are required for the development of daily tasks, a resource that could well be used to solve the real problems that make a individual whether or not outstanding before others and thus the peoples.
Knowledge is an added value and every penny that superiors spend on things that are not necessary, what they do is place us below the water level, sometimes I think that if they intend to continue spending the $ resources = knowledge that we can acquire.
So I wonder; Why spend a million in resources for licenses that in the end what they do is that they tie us to companies that day by day are looking for a way to get more money from us.
I know that in the train that moves the resources of others there are people who have knowledge of the GNU / Linux movement and who know that it is a more viable alternative for the development of the peoples, then why is that step not finally taken, which already some neighboring countries have given.
There are people who first think about how much they will put into their pockets in the next few months than what will happen in the next 12 with someone who could turn into knowledge the resources that some spend even in minimal things
Is it lack of knowledge, faith and support for Free Software? They don't know, they don't understand how things work. After all, most of them read about the problem after professing that they have solutions.
In my opinion, I think that the $ commissions have wiped out a large part of those who one day want to see some state agencies running in a system based on freedoms, it is logical that it is easier to leave things as they are (on the way to sea) and take a good game of the problem, they do not know that one day, if it does not affect their descendants, it will surely do so.
Free Software is more than free, it is a gift from brilliant minds, people who sacrifice, and with them their families to provide a solution to our problems. People who don't think about whether or not I should deserve that software, people who do things for others.
On the other side are the people who sell the purpose for which they were chosen ...
Leaders must make use of free technologies that currently do not lack anything in front of the owners, it is their duty to respond to the call of this part of the population, more than that it is a demand that is made ...
