Once again I bring you wallpapers, and once again I don't give preferences to a specific distro 😀
Here are some wallpapers of several distros, without many effects, clean backgrounds, designs of mcder (like the ones I've been putting these days) 🙂
Anyway, here I leave them:
What do they think? 😀
I use the Arch obviously, elav is using that of Debian : )
regards
The first time I see any Fedora here
By the way, does anyone know which distro is the last one?
http://aptosid.com/
Thanks for the tip 😀
Welcome to the site 😉
First time you see any Fedora here? ... well let's see if we read the articles well:

Those items are older than Methuselah
Don't mess with the Fedora theme eggs anymore. So why don't you just look for good articles on this distro and publish them?
Because if I spend all the time writing articles they will be crap, I prefer to write few and good to many and bad.
And I'm starting with the exams.
🙁
I did not know the last one, by the way what resolution are they? I'll download the Arch distro that I use.
1920 × 1080 if I remember correctly 😀
And I don't know that last one either haha.
Now I want to see the exciting fund pack, please (I have been told that you are an expert).
You speak with one of the most expert in vicious reggaetonero backgrounds in the entire blogosphere… El Carcamal Arenoso!
Don't mix figurative art with "reggaeton." I admit that I have paid attention to certain videos with music of questionable taste for seeing the swagger of exciting women. But the nude women's backgrounds are pure art. The same good taste as putting on a Vincent van Gogh XD canvas.
Putting those funds in is in bad taste
How little you know about art.
You have earned it:

I give you my blessing.
Indeed. Courage She is not like the rest… she does not know how to appreciate feminine beauty, even though she may have the skin of a beautiful girl inches from her face.
Ok 🙂 I'll make a post about Linux wallpapers, but with girls 😉

Greetings and enjoy it ... I know you will 🙂
Well, I know beautiful girls, one of them is what you think (if you were from Madrid I would show you the photo).
What I don't know is how to get it into your head that I'm not for the job of having a girlfriend to damage her in some way. If in the end I see myself in Cuba hurting a woman in front of your nose ...
And yes, those backgrounds are in bad taste.
Go watch the video about Nigthwish that I sent you and don't touch your nose.
You have put a lot of material, there is to
allalmost all tastes. I see you like pretty faces ;-).HAHA yes, the face is if not the most, at least one of the most important things 🙂
Feelings start in the face 😀
EDITED: I've also put up a lot of non-girl content, things like anime etc haha 😉
I'm really sorry but you have the likes of women in the butt XD. If they are not Japanese, it is not worth putting them in the background ahahaha
There are very attractive Asians and others who do not seem so attractive to me. However, there are those who prefer curvy women and others prefer less exuberant women.
I'm not very fussy about these issues, I like to try different distributions to see the advantages / disadvantages of each system.
You all have a taste in your ass, Asians are all fucking ugly.
The best ones are the ones I said in a certain forum post
Oh, and that "you" sounds too formal to me 😀
Here we are all part of the same family 😉
It's what is in style with people his age 😛. I am possessed by the spirit of Courage, I need an exorcism.
Very good, I am missing Slackware.
No longer missing… - » https://blog.desdelinux.net/wallpaper-relajante-slackware-trisquel-puppy-linux-splash-gimp/
I like them all, simple and beautiful 😉
Hello how are you .. I come to you again since I have days thinking after the last conversation and having a little eyes ejejje
I would like you to guide me a little about what is the difference between a KISS distro and a Roling Release?
Look what I left you in the other post, because they are independent things
Well if I just read it .. it's too good .. little by little I'm understanding ... but every time more questions come out xD
For example, the audio and video codecs how they are installed, what consequences are there when the kernel is updated to a new version, if I install gnome shell it will automatically update when a new version is released ect ect ect
Questions like those xD
I love Sabayon's, I think I'll use it, by the way, great page, keep going like this: p
Thank you haha, a pleasure to know that you like our small contributions 😀
Greetings friend.
Now in a moment I will give you some commands and I will leave you the Arch guides that are on the blog so that you can expose my doubts there
Ohhh hermazo you are the best 😉 I would appreciate it .. I leave you this link so you can laugh a while looking at the images xD
http://theunixdynasty.wordpress.com/2012/02/11/wallpapers-anti-ubuntu/#more-1117
I'll be waiting for the guides 😉
Haha I wanted to sting the ubuntosos with that hahaha:
The Arch installation guides from the blog are these:
https://blog.desdelinux.net/como-instalar-arch-linux-kde-o-lxde/
https://blog.desdelinux.net/bitacora-de-una-instalacion-archlinux/
https://blog.desdelinux.net/como-instalar-archlinux-mediante-dispositivo-usb/
There is another one in the forum, but the server is down.
First of all do an installation in a virtual machine
Very good .. I'm reading hard !! Look at my pc does not have graphic acceleration, it only brings an integrated video ship G41 intel .. Should I install something or do I follow the steps as shown in the guides?
Which chipset is it? Intel 945… Intel 960, which one?
Although, I imagine that installing xf86-video-intel be more than enough 😉
Watch this http://gespadas.com/archlinux-instalacion
Truly .. because the process is not long but it is very tedious, you have to put a lot of hand in everything .. in the virtual machine I will practice
To avoid that, I made my own installation script. I run it and it alone installs all the packages I need haha.
Hey, but you haven't answered what I asked you a while ago:
-What happened to the audio and video codecs?
- And the Flash ??
- In linux mint I installed the Arial font with this command:
"Sudo apt-get install msttcorefonts"
I suppose that in arch it would be: pacman msttcorefonts ???
Ah right 🙂
To install the audio and video codecs, in Debian for example I suppose you install the GStreamers right? I put:
pacman -S gstreamer0.10-ugly-plugins gstreamer0.10-base-plugins gstreamer0.10-good-plugins gstreamer0.10-bad-plugins gstreamer0.10-ffmpeg
And voila, those are ALL codecs for everything 😉
For Flash:
pacman -S flashplugin
The sources I don't know, I think it would be by installing these packages:
pacman -S opendesktop-fonts ttf-freefont
Although you can always copy the fonts to a folder called .fonts (in your home, if it doesn't exist, create it) and that's it 😀
You caught me in bed, keep in mind that my schedule is different from the carcamales on the blog.
Shit a *** misspelling.
Ah come on, if you put in a comment "Hande" to walk ... LOL !!!
Sure, but I rectified, not like another with the "webos"
Vertale sharply I don't know !! but what I do know is that my integrated video ship says intel G41
Excellent wallpapers, I loved the fedora 😉
How about such a fund for the unnameable ...? xD (as a joke)
Arch vs. Ubuntu
Arch has a simpler foundation than Ubuntu. If you like compiling your own kernels, testing CVS-only projects, or compiling a package from source every so often, Arch is better equipped. If you want to turn on your computer and be able to quickly use the system software without much configuration, Ubuntu is better equipped. In general, developers and advanced users probably prefer Arch over Ubuntu.
I am very clear !! I think that for now I will not install Arch as my base system, but nevertheless I will be testing it by virtual machine 🙂
So that said, I think it is not good to criticize the user who uses ubuntu or linux mint .. because as shown there, the one who uses ubuntu is because he wants to turn on the computer and be able to quickly use the system software without configuring much ..
It is already very simple !! it is not necessary to explain too much or say that the ubuntu system does not work 😉
Regarding Debian ahahaha I liked the explanation too much:
Arch is a "walking" distribution, while Debian Stable is released with "frozen" packages. xD
Actually in Arch it is not that you have to compile a lot, almost nothing really 😉
Don't fuck around !!! You will say that you do not have to compile anything that you use .. Because I can give you a few examples in my case 😛
Pacman + Yaourt make life much easier for users who do not want to compile.
yaourt -S package and voila ... the script is downloaded and compiled on its own, without you having to be checking dependencies, solving libraries, creating links, etc. etc.
Exactly colleague .. What do you think Yaourt does? Well compile or pre-compile .. That's what I mean.
The ubunto are criticized, not the ubunteros
Arch vs. Fedora
Fedora is a derivative of Red-Hat. It has a great community, many pre-built packages, and a lot of support available. Fedora is based on RPM packages. Arch uses pacman to handle .tar.gz packages. Fedora does not want to support MP3 because they think it will cause patent problems. Arch is more forgiving of MP3 and other types of multimedia formats. Fedora uses a graphical installation. Arch uses an ncurses-based installation. Fedora is very GUI driven. Arch is a much simpler system than Fedora, leaving the user to configure things by hand. Arch is optimized for i686. Fedora has a pre-defined release cycle. Arch has a "walking" release system. Arch's design is made to be a lighter system than an automated system.
Arch vs. Debian
Arch is much simpler than Debian. Arch has fewer packages. However, Arch provides better support than Debian for building your own packages. Arch is more permissive when a package is defined as 'non-free' by GNU. Arch is optimized for i686 processors. Arch's packages are newer than Debian's (even on its unstable branch). They both have an excellent package management system. Arch is a "walking" distribution, while Debian Stable is released with "frozen" packages.
A couple of things I have doubts about:
- In what sense is Arch simpler than Debian?
- How is it that Arch provides better support for building your own packages?
- How is Arch optimized for i686?
Hello, well I copied that from the official arch page and wanted to share it with you .. but personally I am staying with Debian xD
If we copy what the windows web says, windows would be the best operating system in history ahahah.
I have installed Debian in expert mode and Arch is simpler, it installs less by default, but I know that when you get like this there is no way with you.
Well, I think saying that Arch is simpler and easier to install than Debian is too much. Only the Debian partitioning step outperforms Archlinux by far. But nothing, that depends on who looks at it.
When did I say it's easier to install? What I have said is that the system is simpler
It is true to partition in Debian in text mode is very simple .. Thank God ejejje xD
elav brother how are you! a question which branch are you pointing to and which environment are you currently using in Debian?
I have a local mirror of the Debian Testing repository. But if I used the ones from the internet, they would be these:
deb http://ftp.debian.org/debian testing main contrib non-free
deb http://www.debian-multimedia.org testing main non-free
As desktop environment I use Xfce, although sometimes I exchange with Cinnamon, Openbox and RazorQt 😛
Great. !! Tell me something, do you already have LibreOffice 3.5 and VLC 2.0?
It's been more than a week since I have been able to update my repositories, because the server from which I synchronize them has problems. LibreOffice I installed it manually with the .deb from the official site. And I don't know if the VLC will already be in repositories from what I told you before.
Ah ok ok .. of course I understood it very well .. one of the reasons why I had to return to Ubuntu was because I did not know how to install libreoffice 3.5 in debian testing ... and from what I understand it has not yet reached the repositories of debian you installed it manually !! when I add it, I'll be up to date with the packages being in the testing branch 🙁 and also install the arial sources in debian .. do you know how to do it?
I downloaded this background pack but I use the chakra one which is not here>.
I take the one from openSUSE
Two days ago I was looking for funds of that color and did not know how to search. It put blue backgrounds but the color is not blue, neither is it blue jjajjaja so I did not find anything. Thank you, they filled my mind
hahahahaha a pleasure 😀
For those who wanted the Slackware wallpaper.

I like the logo of the flag that you have next to the Firefox XD logo
I don't have my own computer or money for one
Quiet men, your time will come for you to mount as it should be 😉

Hey, what happened to the Ubuntu wallpaper… it's the only one of the big distributions that I am missing along with Mandriva
This wallpaper pack only includes distributions that use KDE environment or have a derivative of that environment.
I do not make wallpaper for other environments and distributions that do not have KDE in their repositories.
Greetings and sorry for the inconvenience.
But what about Kubuntu that uses KDE by default, doesn't that count?
Greetings.
Kubuntu is a variant of Ubuntu with KDE and has its wallpaper (The one with the gears)
Hello I would like to congratulate you on the blog, I am new to Linux for 5 months on ubuntu (I was a windolero before) and yesterday I installed archbang on the PC, (because Arch still escapes me) on the laptop I have mint Julia for the famous graphics card from intel gma500, very good funds, I hope to learn little by little more about this world
Welcome davidlg. Well, feel at home and any questions, you can take it to our forum.
Hello and welcome David 🙂
