How to install the Papyrus note manager
The easiest way to install Papyrus is using the .run files that the developers distribute, they are available for 64-bit and 32-bit architecture, the steps to install these files are as follows:
- Download the appropriate .run for your architecture, you can do it from the following link as appropriate:
Papyrus for Linux 64bit
Papyrus for Linux 32bit - We open a terminal and go to the directory where the .run has been downloaded.
- We give execution permissions:
chmod +x papyrus-1.0.0-linux-installer.run
(replace with the name of your file). - We execute the file to begin the installation
./papyrus-1.0.0-linux-installer.run
(replace with the name of your file).
How to install the note manager in Ubuntu
Ubuntu users and derivatives for their part can install Papyrus using the application's official ppa, to do this open a terminal and execute the following commands:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa: aseman / desktop-apps sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get install papyrus
Or failing that, download the .deb for Ubuntu 64bit y Ubuntu 32bit.
