Today I want to talk to you about Polly, a thin client for Twitter.
I found Polly looking for an alternative for Hotot as she was consuming too much (around 203 / 205Mb the GTK2 version of RAM, the GTK3 version touched the 250Mb, Polly around 85Mb)
Polly allows us to use more than one account (ideal for using more than one account for any reason) and several tabs at the same time (for example in the image my Timeline and the one of mentions)
Other Polly options are the auto-completion of usernames, uploading images (something that in Hotot didn't work for me), clipping the urls (in both cases we have several services to choose from), creating lists, etc.
Undoubtedly we are facing a good client for Twitter that will delight those who, like me, want something that complies and that, above all, consumes little.
Polly is programmed in Python and use the libraries GTK for the interface.
To install it you just have to add the repository PPA (below I leave the link to your page in Launchpad) or through AUR.
