QIviewer is a lightweight and simple alternative to visor de images usual (especially Gwenview, in KDE). The latest version 0.5 incorporates interesting improvements. |
Installation
Arch
yaourt -S qiviewer
Source code
- http://code.google.com/p/qiviewer
Once downloaded, go to the directory where the file is located, unzip and install:
tar xvfj qi * .tar.bz2
cd ~ / qi * / src
make
sudo make install
Yes it is light, but I have gotten used to Kuickshow.
I've been testing both kuickshow like this and qiviewer beats it by far in resource consumption.
How to install on U12.10? What differences are there with the default ubuntu viewer?
I have followed this tutorial http://www.taringa.net/posts/linux/15756171/Qiviewer_-Visor-de-imagenes-ligero-para-KDE.html but when compiling it does not find anything for it.
I've wanted to try it on a fedora for so long I remember finding it in: http://rod.gs/Mxm
It's in my repository for Kubuntu 12.10 - 12.04…
