Raiola Networks Hosting Review and Opinions

Raiola Networks is a Spanish web hosting company located in Lugo and from my point of view one of the best in all of Spain. In this Raiola Networks review let's analyze your shared hosting plan.

Well let's get started, I have hired the pro hosting plan which has a cost of € 8.95 per month and consists of the following benefits:

  • Maximum 30 domains
  • 30 GB storage
  • 300 GB transfer
  • 30 DB MySQL
  • 50 email accounts
  • 1024 MB of RAM
  • 80% of 1 CPU

This plan is the one that I will use to perform the reviewIn the beginning, unless you have a large website (which indicates that you need a vps) or poorly optimized (giant images and a non-optimized website) you will not notice the difference.

I remind you that in this world nothing is unlimited and less hosting (they have limitations of simultaneous processes, php or bandwidth requests), personally I prefer that they leave things to me from the beginning and not have to "share" with others for if someone goes too smart and consumes more and we all "suffer".

Get a free month of hosting or vps

First of all, if you want to try the service yourself, here you have access to a raiola networks page where they allow you to use any hosting or vps for 1 month free. It is a gift from Raiola Networks for all readers of desdelinux.

Review Hosting Raiola Networks

Well, I start by showing your hosting control panel:

A simple and complete panel with access to cPanel, an online file manager (very useful for compressing and decompressing files), phpMyAdmin, etc.

If we access our cPanel we will see a web application installer, in my case I am going to install a wordpress from here to do it quickly (this tool is very good for people who have to create several blogs)

Now on my wordpress installation I have installed a wordpress theme and I have imported the dummy data (example data) so that it weighs the same as a normal website.

I have written an entry with 15 paragraphs of lorem ipsum and I have added 2 images to the post. It has been as follows:

Performance and speed test

Well the time has come to put it to the test, I am going to use 3 tools to measure performance. In this case the wordpress doesn't have any caching or optimization plugin installed. These are the results:

The reason why the times at which I have made the analyzes are "opposite" (first with cache and then without cache) is because I made a mistake and first analyzed the main page without cache and not the post that I had prepared to analyze.

With this tool I send traffic to the post for 5 minutes and analyze the load:

No optimization / Cache

With cache (wp-rocket cache)

With this other we analyze the weight, loading time and the size of the web.

No optimization / Cache

With cache (wp-rocket cache)

3/4 of the same with page speed test

No optimization / Cache

With cache (wp-rocket cache)

I am one of those who think that it is better to judge the results yourself and decide. For those who do not understand here I leave a small summary of mine:

  • During the 5 minutes of loadimpact analysis I have surfed the web without problems with no cache.
  • The web loads quite fast and I think it can handle simultaneous traffic well (without going overboard)
  • The loads of the web are for my taste quite well.

Plans and Prices

Raiola networks It has enough plans for any of the needs that we have here I leave you those of shared hosting

They also have special plans to host the following websites:

  • WordPress
  • Prestashop interface
  • Joomla

And finally to mention that they also have excellent reseller hosting plans to offer the highest quality to all your users.

For me in Spain the best there is is Hosting Stark ( https://www.hostingstark.com ) and WebEmpresa ( http://www.webempresa.com ), and if I have to choose between those two, I'll stick with the first one, mostly because of the support that is super fast and they have a telephone, which Webempresa doesn't.
