A few ago few days version 0.9 of rekonq.
One month ago I told them about the news that we would have in this version, I comment here again:
- Suggestion mechanism in URLs, this will try to guess which website the user will open and show suggestions. Already ajam talked about it here y here.
- Reprogrammed the code of the UserAgent and the UI.
- Support to synchronize (sync). Support for passwords, history and bookmarks. At the moment it will only handle FTP sites, but work is already underway to add support for many more alternatives (Mozilla Sync, Git Repos, Google Bookmarks, WebDAV, Digg) in future versions.
- Changes in WebKit options:
- Added tabs on Rekonq pages, which will make it easier to manipulate them.
- Improvements in the handling of downloads as well as in the download page, showing when the file has been removed and when it really exists.
- Fixes regarding icons, specifically some details regarding the favicons of the webs have been fixed.
- Hot keys. These have been imported from Arora and were adjusted following implementations of Konqueror.
- User session management. Finally rekonq it will restart fine when the session KDE be restored
- Support for web applications. The explanation of this can be seen in the following video: Video on YouTube
Soon it will be available in our own repos, but for the impatient you can download it directly from KDE-Apps.org 😉

I recently wrote about it while testing the new version on kubuntu 12.04

I saw that webapps in the video in which they showed how it would work, but when compiling the version available from git I did not find this functionality, have you tried it to see that it works or if it is activated in a different way?

That the best
haha, yes, that reggaeton thing is even more evil than the proprietary software for stallman, that if we have to eradicate it
Actually I don't update Arch yet, so I don't have Rekonq 0.9… it will take a few days to update 🙁
Sometimes when I add a favorite, it crashes and when I close it, an error message appears: / Does it happen to someone else?
All the time in my case it is very unstable, in the other post I said just that. Now all kde is being updated to 4.8.1 and between those updates come reconq 0.9 ... let's see if it improves
If it also happens to me, a lot with the markers.
reKonq is a program that, unfortunately, is still somewhat green, and although it progresses well with each version, it still has small bugs. KDE users are still waiting for a true alternative to Firefox or Chromium, since everything that is programmed in Qt today is not enough (nor Qupzilla).
Very nice and all but a year later, I keep saying that it crashes when I listen to online radio with flash or I open a website that uses javascript, so I hardly advance anything and it hurts to say it, but we need a decent browser for kde.
