That's great! The Latest repositories is Debian CUT's idea applied to Mint. Hopefully this gets to Debian.
Exact. Debian CUT is working, in fact I have to keep track of it more, but on the Debian CUT mailing lists I have seen how Linux Mint has been named as an example of what Debian should be. So maybe your wishes (and everyone's) will come true soon 😀

I've been in LMDE for a week, and although it's a bit more "complicated" than Ubuntu, which is where I come from, I'm satisfied and I plan to stay here.

Well shit em send with this to change the repositories, apparently I have no more lmde if not some debian, I do not even have the options to change the wallpaper. I am going to reinstall the version I had. I just wanted to have the latest versions of some programs, not to change the distribution. Trial and error, trial and error ...

Do you have to have Latest and Incoming assets or do you have to choose one of the two? If it were the latter, which of them would be better or more advisable?
