Native Clients of Runescape and Tibia Games on GNU / Linux

RuneScape and Tibia are games of the MMORPG type (Massive Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game) which means that it is a Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game). Both are widely played on MS Windows but can also be played from your GNU / Linux Operating System with little effort using the native GNU / Linux clients.

While Runescape is a game divided into several mythical kingdoms, regions and cities, and its players explore the created world, forming alliances, perform tasks and accumulate skills, Tibia is a medieval game without much difficulty which consists of leveling up and improving the attributes and weapons of your character, which are 4 and can range from a Knight to a Wizard.

In both games you can earn virtual money that can then be exchanged by its owners for currencies and cryptocurrencies to obtain real profits for the time invested. Runescape is to be played on more modern and robust equipment, while Tibia, due to its few graphics and its very basic interface, is much friendlier for simpler equipment.

In my personal case, it only worked for me to install Runescape with the unofficial client repository. Please try that procedure. It runs very well for me!
