SIR, batch image editing program

Simple Image Converter (SIR) is a small program with which we can resize images, rotate them or convert them to other formats. Its interface is simple and very intuitive. It supports, among others, the following formats: JPEG, JPG, PNG, BMP XPM, GIF, PBM, etc.

Although the sources can be downloaded from the official website, we can download the packaged program for Ubuntu from the Ubuntu PPA repository:

https://edge.launchpad.net/~rsachetto/+archive/ppa/+packages

You can also add the PPA by typing this in the terminal:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa: user / ppa-name
Then you open Synaptic, search for "sir" and install it.
