SolusOS prepares a new installer

Ikey doherty does not rest and in his profile G+ It shows us how the new installer of SolusOS, which I confess looks beautiful. At least to me it looks very similar to openSUSE.

What do you think? In the profile of ikey there are some videos that show us the installer in full operation ... 😉

I really like it: and if it looks like the one from openSUSE and Ikey SI was inspired by the one from openSUSE; in fact, he has asked us the pluseros for our opinion on how each aspect of the installer would look better and I honestly gave him my approval and my most sensible +1; hopefully that installer will also reach 2.0

I am fascinated by the path that SolusOS takes and I am anxiously waiting for version 2. Now, the truth is that my English is terrible and since I see that you are an active person in the community, I would only ask that you add an advanced option, that of configure the default resolution from the installer and thus avoid having to configure it manually from the Xorg file. I also don't know if you have been able to keep an eye on Mageia, but its Drak-conf tool is very good for users to manage system options from a friendly graphical interface without using the console. What do you think ?

It looks very good, but .. soluses I was never entirely sure, I always had some drama. Too bad, I'll keep waiting for debian 7. I need more profound and non-aesthetic changes.

Excellent, good for Ikey who is still working on this project, which in fact is a very stable, fast and functional distribution, very little to do about the typical "after installation" since this distribution contains all the basics for a functional desktop righ now.
    Greetings.

    That such.

The process that the SolusOS team carries out is excellent and the installer looks excellent. In fact, and from my very personal point of view, I consider that the openSUSE installer is, if not the best, one of the best in the Linux world and it was inspired by this, in my opinion, even better.

    MODE ([TROLL] + »ON»)

Interesting that as long as they do not mention ubuntu, the comments are:
    "Linux getting better"

    MODE ([TROLL] + »OFF»)

Well the truth is, it is more intuitive and elegant, very good success by the people of solusOS.

    EXCELLENT.

We all have low moments, including the distros, you'll see that Ubuntu is going to come back. But solusOS makes you really want to try it, it looks good and the only thing I get are positive reviews.

I do not like it, it seems to me that it is one more distro and that's it. I prefer Mint if that's why. Does my opinion count as negative?

No, I prefer Debian, but we cannot deny that all distros have something that surpasses others, which makes them win a great community.
It is also not too much to try it, because personally it offers a lot, too bad it does not have time or free partitions (I do not want to send more than to my disk.)

I think this distro is great, I have only been with it for 2 months, it gives me a little problem with the sound, it is heard with distortion at times .. but I use it normally
