My suggestions (Feedback) to Choqok

choqok I find a client for Microblog (Twitter, Identi.ca, StatusNet) great, honestly the best I've seen. The options that it gives us, how customizable it can be, support for several simultaneous accounts, in short ... many, many points in favor 🙂

But it can be even better. Just today I read that the developers of choqok give us the possibility to send you suggestions, complaints, ideas, and obviously I did not lose the chance 😀

As you can see in that image, I filled out the form and in it, in addition to answering the questions that were included there, I added several suggestions that I think will choqok better software ^ _ ^

My suggestions were the following:

1.logs.

In other words, if Choqok already does the work of connecting to the internet and downloading the tweets, well… why not store those tweets in a file? for example tweets.log or something like that. Or… it would be great if Choqok stored tweets, RTs and more like Pidgin does with IM conversations, in .HTML files, sorted by date, contact, etc.

Why do this?

• This would allow us to read the old tweets without the need to connect to the internet, or consume bandwidth.
• If Choqok takes the trouble to connect to the internet and download them, I think it's not totally unreasonable for him to store them, right?
• It would give those of us who do not have internet at home the possibility to read the tweets that we download during the day, perhaps to read some more carefully, etc.

2. Customizable Tray Icon.

I mean the possibility of changing the tray icon in a simple way, to be able to tell choqok which icon I want it to use to display on the tray.

3. Support for authentication in goo.gl

choqok It allows us to shorten URLs using a lot of different services, in some it lets us use our own account and in others it does not. goo.gl is one of those that we can use through choqok, but we can't tell you which user + password to use. The idea is that they allow to use the account of each one so that in this way, when we shorten a URL it is saved in the history of goo.gl : )

Obviously I answered yes, I would like to see G+ en choqok, but actually it's not that I'm very interested haha.
