SUSE Linux VS Red Hat?

SUSE Linux has joined the project OpenStack, which is why it is yet another distro that joins the fight for supremacy in the market for computing and cloud services, a fight between Red Hat against…. well ... against all the others HAHA.

En an entry made on the SUSE blog This can be corroborated, however many must ask ... What is OpenStack?

I will leave a small excerpt from genbeta:

OpenStack It is a project led by the Rackspace company, which has decided to release the code for its Cloud Files and Cloud Servers services under an Apache 2.0 license. This code forms the cornerstone of OpenStack, offering the possibility to users or companies of create your own cloud computing services.

I recommend visiting this article (also from genbeta), as this explains better what OpenStack is about: OpenStack, open source cloud computing

Not only SUSE is united in this crusade, companies like Canonical, HP and Dell also belong to this project.

Happens that Red Hat wants as a good company, to be the leader in everything related to Open Source or GNU / Linux, while my very personal opinion is that it would be better to have everything distributed, that is, each distro with its peculiarities that was a leader in specific markets.

For example, Red Hat or Debian server industry leader, SUSE in virtualization, and maybe Canonical with Ubuntu on the desktop.

Yes, Canonical with Ubuntu Gentlemen, because another company or company that can offer something similar could be Mandriva, which is in a tailspin. Debian, Arch, Pardus, Chakra, many distros can give the user an experience that consumes less hardware yes, but behind these distros is there a CIA?

regards

You're out of date with Mandriva, that was before.

These companies give me a bad thorn

Haha no, I prefer the last one, not Mandriva although you know that both exist.

I'm not cool with companies, they want to do everything their way even if they screw it up
