Introduction to SUSE Studio

To access this tool you have to go to the website of SUSE Studio here. The first thing to do is register with any of the options it offers you:

Once logged in, this screen appears where we will decide the basis of our version of SUSE. In my case I have chosen the version openSUSE 13.1 the option Just Enough OS (JeOS) and the architecture of 64-bit.

We appear on the home screen and we find at the top the different tabs from where all the options that it offers us are configured SUSE Studio.

Home

The tab is where we are right now, the only thing that lets you change is the name you want to give to your "project".

What a coincidence that last night I looked on youtube for videos about SUSE studio, a site that I had already heard about a few months ago.
In my particular point of view, this site goes well with the KISS philosophy. (maybe I'm wrong)
What is pleasant (and perhaps for many) is that in the second part of your article (sorry for anticipating me) you will show that we can include our own logo to said distribution as well as add our own wallpapers.
The downside is that we can only choose between two gnome or kde desktops by omitting xfce lxde or openbox which are also supported by suse as far as I understand.
I dismiss these lines from openSUSE 13.1kde

I did not know this, thanks for sharing. Now can I do what I do in archlinux? I mean having essential packages that I need and also managing it as a rolling release.

The same as they said above, but I would like confirmation. Are there possibilities of doing an OpenSuse a la Crunchbang? With Openbox, and many of the applications that it comes with by default? Thank you

Yes, it allows you to do everything, put the desktop you want, not desktop, whatever.

I already knew it and I even thought they had removed it, I see that it still exists, the best in its class, it allows everything and the best is online, without installing anything on the computer, you create an account and ready to work on a personalized suse copy , better than the ubuntu customizer.

This looks just like what one could do before with Slax -> http://www.slax.org/es/modules.php

I remember that you activated the modules first and then, you gave the button to generate the ISO, and so you could prepare your selection of Software, before downloading the iso.

Bro, it would be good to explain step by step what they are and what each of the options displayed on the page are for, to know exactly what you need in your operating system, if you know of any manual I appreciate the information
