This is our monthly competition. The idea is that we can show the world that in Linux you can also get luxurious and visually appealing desks.

¡Show us your desktop and get our admiration! Mint or Ubuntu? Debian or Fedora? Arch or openSUSE? ¿Which distros will appear in our Top this month?

Instructive

  1. Get a screenshot of your desktop. To do this, you can use the PrintScreen key (or PrtSc, on English keyboards). Do not forget that it is also Shutter to help you.
  2. Access our Facebook page, Google+ o Diaspora.
  3. Paste your photo on our Wall, attaching a description: desktop environment, theme, icons, desktop background, etc.
  4. At the end of the week, the 5 best captures will be published in an exclusive post for the whole world to admire.
  5. This same competition will be repeated every month.

    The originality, creativity and overall aesthetics of the desk will be judged.

      This contest could be done in a voting way, that people upload the desktop screenshot, the details and others and that the users vote for the one we like the most, you could also make a section on the blog in which you explain how to customize the desktop this way people new to Linux could see custom desktops and also know how to get one.

      In my opinion it makes more sense if we can vote for the desktop! you could use some plugin for the blog or another tool to achieve it, maybe deviantart.com (creating a group) will work, or else some kind of poll ...
