The deep web, a deep place full of things you want and don't want to see.

La deep web (DW from now on) is one of the best known urban legends of all, few of those strongly related to the world of the internet are unaware of its existence, although they do pass by for many reasons, some very logical.

I have known this section of the internet for a long time, the deep web, I had heard about it more or less in my first semester when I was visiting a university in another state and as a good curious I sat down to talk and ask questions. It turns out that DW is something huge, much, much bigger than the web we know (which is called surface web) and with a content a thousand times more varied and complete than what we normally have access to, both for better and for worse.

Basically the DW is the same internet that we know but full of more sites that cannot be indexed in any way by conventional search engines, either because they are so archaic pages that search engines already ignore, or because they have non-indexable content (pages totally made in flash tended to fall almost immediately to the DW for not having indexable html) or also because the programmers of the page in question have intentionally made their code to be ignored by search engines and ... there are even private and encrypted pages.

In DW there are too many things to tell, obviously the content of this far exceeds that of what we normally know and the truth is that in it you will find from the good and useful to the disgusting and detestable, I tell you this for personal experience.

When navigating the DW, many precautions must be taken and several basic rules must be considered to keep you safe (or at least as much as possible). I am not going to tell you how to enter or how to navigate, I am not going to give you details because the great thing about this is to investigate everything by yourself.

It is important that you take these recommendations into account, Deep Web it's interesting but dangerous
  • You need to use TOR to access the vast amount of things on the DW, if you don't you put yourself at risk and you won't be able to access the .onion sites.
  • Evita the sites that say fart bear, hard candy, HC, CP… It's childish pr0n, and it's unpleasant.
  • Do not download anything, or at least nothing you're not sure about.
  • Avoid "markets", unless you are looking for drugs, "quality" child pr0n, organs, human trafficking, etc.
  • Make friends on the DW? I avoid it, and the deeper you go, the better it is to be inconspicuous.
  • Do not use your email or register for anything, If you do, do it with alternate email accounts and if it is possible to give yourself the job of using something like riot mail, the better.
  • Do not activate any plugin, does not suit you.
  • Don't dive too deep into the DW, the lower you go, the more risk there is of running into things you do not want to see or things that others do not want you to see, and if you are unlucky you will get a Snuff video (look in wikipedia which is one of these videos)

Taking this into account, you have to know that in the DW I dont know "browse" so to speak; I know dive. This is kind of complicated, first because you won't be able to type something like "Creepypasta" in the navigation bar and you will find a list of things. To move in this sub world of the DW you need to know the exact addresses of the site you want to review, which probably has its encrypted address, an initial point of reference in this world is the HiddenWiki, with that track they already have more than enough to enter and search alone. Of course, I warn you that you know well what you are looking for and avoid being curious in places that you do not have much knowledge of, that seem strange to you or simply that in the reference it says something that is not very ... pleasant.

In this image you will see in detail the levels of the Deep Web (which is deeper than some may think).

Be careful, the content is only checked up to level 4 in the graph, then from there, at least I have not been able to pass or I have not seen anything related. Many say that it is a complete fake beyond this point, but since there are few who have demonstrated something relatively credible, little can be known.

I can tell you about my experience, yesterday I entered the DW After a long time of doing it for the first time, it is not easy to search for something when you don't have search engines, nor is it simple to be chasing something from site to site. I, for example, always look for things like very macabre creepypastas, which many do not talk about on the normal web or those that have been lost over the years in sooooo old sites.

There are also some personal diaries in the form of blogs that are quite interesting, very good reading material, but finding them is hard, very hard and I am not going to give you directions for the simplest reason in the world; the fun is looking for yourself. You can get many books, games and programs, here sharing this type of content is a million times simpler, what's more, the bitorrent protocol moves almost pink the deep web.

Not in vain have I also had very bad experiences because I have found things that I have not wanted to see. In fact, some pastes have been extremely graphic and I didn't like them. I was unlucky enough to come across a snuff video that wasn't snuff until the final moment and ... I won't talk about it anymore. The thing is that you can find a lot, although I also have to tell you that conspiracies and large declassified files are not achieved, not so easily; a lot of research and hacking capabilities are needed because that info, although it exists very deep in the DWIt is also very well protected, I have entered more or less until the «Middle area" of the DW, and I do not want to go back so deep, there is nothing interesting for me in those parts.

I'm already saying goodbye, but I remind you, curiosity killed the cat and although it is useful to get the quality information that you will find in the DWThe good news ... the deeper they swim, the greater the possibility of finding things you don't want to see or people you don't want to run into.

Good luck people and enjoy this urban legend.

I only reached level 3 and without proxy (I did not reach the part with tor), for a while I frequented gore sites

I got curious, I went down to the bottom of what would become level 4, I saw things that I regret seeing, seriously

I don't know, in level 4 will the Windows source code be?

NPI, I have not looked for that kind of thing, but one never knows what can be found in the DW ... I have come to see real cases of human trafficking, and they do it as if nothing, with photos and everything xD ... if they are fakes, they are very, very well done.

For God's sake nano, I really hope that none of you are encouraged, I have had terrible experiences with DW, I do not recommend it, and if you do, be extremely careful, since you will find things very, very shocking and unpleasant. But there are interesting things there are.

I entered the hidden wiki ... the truth is not much to say

    1.    dwarf said

The hidden wiki above has nothing, the joke is to sit down, read, search. One link takes you to another, and to another and to another. Don't expect to get everything so easily. There's a lot on DW, it doesn't necessarily mean it's easy to find.

      1.    juan carlos said

what kind of consas found? I have seen hardcandy, a fake market, a real one with only 30 products, satanic bible, arm weapons, but I have looked for something really interesting and nothing = /

        1.    dwarf said

You need to spend HOURS searching. I went from link to link. The only thing I like about DW are macabre stories or pasta, I don't care if they are real stories, conspiracies, what really matters to me is to entertain myself by reading something for a while.

DW is the slutty web with a pompous name that makes many script-kiddies feel like major hackers, hahahahahahaha

    1.    dwarf said

I don't feel like a hacker, I just look for things that I don't normally get anywhere else. That and it's fun to get cool details every now and then.

      1.    msx said

DW is THE WEB, plain and simple.
In the same way that in most bathrooms or dark corners of the discos you can buy the drugs that you can think of or in certain marginal settlements get weapons, if you know where to go on the web you will also find what you are looking for.

DW like "Cloud Computing" or "Web 2.0" or "Social network" or "Malware" or many other similar terms are euphemisms invented by the marketing departments of companies to make money with the ignorance of people.

        1.    dwarf said

Yes, it is the plain and simple web, but it is not the easily accessible web, not just any neophyte opens Google and gets a site that you can get in what is called DW. That is the difference

          1.    msx said

That is precisely the problem and you as a computer scientist will already know it: people think that Google is the web.

The problem with legal content on the web is that it is anarchic, that is, there is no central reference directory. If there were such a directory to which everyone who opens a new site, blog, forum or foo.com would have to register and label correctly when making said site public then 99% of the entropy existing today would end since we could search content from a centralized place instead of relying on a search engine that hardly tries to achieve this purpose but also has its own commercial interests that drive it.

Today the web is neither free nor open, it is chaotic. Without an appropriate regulation that orders it, we must continue to rely on the Google search engine that, although it is true that it works very well, it is a private enterprise when it should be in the hands of a suitable international organization and of course non-profit.

People in their ignorance say "internet" and refer to Google or Face $ hit or similar and the reality is that the web is much larger than that, in fact it is much larger than the HTTP protocol:

"The web is all interconnected machines and devices that can be accessible from other similar devices."

That is why saying "Deep Web" is redundant, it is like talking about the "marginals" in a society, they are terms coined to maintain a certain status-quo and to use them is to get carried away by the nose.

          2.    charlie brown said

But has anyone seen ads for hit men or drug dealers in the yellow pages?… Come on, it's the same thing. By the way, if you are not very careful in the DW you can end up looking for a problem; it's like touring a slum.

I think many of us use it when we look for or see stolen DBs or information from companies or people that we would not have to be looking at ... well. To some extent many of us have or use it.

But to go looking for child porn, murder or things like that. I don't think I will ever even try.

  9.   ubuntero said

I only recommend that you do not go around proclaiming what things you see in the DW and be judgmental when using the term "p9rn 1nf4ntil" there are many double agents ... (if you know what I mean). Cheers

I see a waste of time entering there for these reasons and because they surely coincide with me since no one here is a pedophile or sadist.

    - The speed is tremendously slow.
    - The searches are terrible
    - The content is interesting but you will only take something if you are looking for something specific from before
    - The gore that you can find is morbid "confidential" as I would say, that is, victims of attacks and very specific things or rapes…, the conventional gore is already in theync and rotten.
    - If or if you end up in a shit gallery with unpleasant things, from here your belly hurts and you decide to eliminate tor from your pc.

Use it for concrete things and with knowledge. Anything else I do will either ruin your day or make you a bit unbalanced like the type who worked for google and going through hard content.

It has happened to me with a gallery of traffic accidents 😛 It would also be good for everyone to see it, especially here in my country where people wait to cross the street on the same street instead of the sidewalk, they cross in Colorado, cars do not put turn signal, etc.

I fully agree with your comment.

I had many mistakes in the previous comment, I did not review it much.

The DW is the dumping ground for the Internet. There is only garbage. The interesting part is out of the reach of the curious.

    1.    msx said

How wrong you are, twice wrong:

"The DW is the dump of the Internet"
The misnamed DW is the part of the human being that scandalizes the rest of the people or that represents actions / choices / situations socially and culturally frowned upon and morally or ethically reprehensible.

The misnamed DW are simply all those who previously did the same in clubs, associations or other private forms and who now also have a presence on the web, nothing more than that.

There is only garbage. The interesting part is out of the reach of the curious. "
In the less public or accessible part of the web where industrial and political secrets are traded and all kinds of goods and commodities are traded, many of them illegal.

It is simply a black market that is beyond the control of the authorities.

      1.    msx said

But hey, let's give it an ominous and mysterious name that will help us market it.

Fucking people from marketing. If you have a chance, watch the Dilbert series, it's about 30 episodes (two seasons) very acidic and cynical about the corporate world ...

      2.    Windousian said

Hahaha, you already have a plot for a TV series. My message is clear. In what they call DW you will not find the answer to the mysteries of the universe. That the garbage is interesting does not mean that it remains garbage. To enter private places you need an "invitation" (they will tell me how to get directions). You should not mix those sites with the rest as they are out of reach. The term DW is a bit absurd.

      3.    Windousian said

By the way, about the black supermarket ... What kind of idiot does business in a market where the sellers or "service providers" are anonymous, unknown and untraceable? in the hidden wiki itself it says, pron gore and all 2 FOR YOU TO AVOID IT

    2.    dwarf said

Look, this "fear of doing something wrong" thing is silly. You have to know what you are looking for and simply read the descriptions of the sites where you enter or the directories you read, it is rare that someone does not say what they post, and if you see a link that does not say where it goes or what it contains, simple, don't click it.

You have to be careful not to run into things you don't want to see, of course, but it's not that just entering is bad. It was already said before, the DW is simply the internet, pure and simple, only that it is not what search engines index and it contains some different protocols (.onion) that allow to work in almost absolute anonymity, but no more than that.

It is simply a lawless border.

      1.    Windousian said

I see a movie double talk. On the one hand it is a dangerous lawless area, full of hackers willing to do anything. On the other hand, you tell us that it is the part of the Internet that search engines do not index. Let's see, in the non-indexed part there are very quiet sites. There are a lot of databases that search engines ignore for technical reasons. Then there are I2P, TOR, Freenet, ... and these contain a lot of crap where pedophiles, conspirators, scammers, the mentally ill, activists, spies, policemen and the curious "dive".

        1.    dwarf said

It is not a double discourse, it is a dangerous place and there are ugly things, but is that why just being around is bad? Not at all. I read creepypastas and look for any kind of interesting reading ... books are in fact, or very very eccentric people who post stories or anecdotes in anonymous forums ... and there is nothing wrong or illegal about that.

It is a border without law, literally. First, because it is delimited by those who know and those who do not know how to enter, there is a gap, that makes it a border. Second, because it does not have any regulation, it does not apply anything that we know, therefore without law.

The onion network, although it is sooo used for shady things, did you know that it is also used for good things? Annonymous is not the best example, what they do can be seen from many perspectives, but they use and create very airtight private sites here to discuss and do antisec operations. It can also be used by people in very 'regulated' countries so to speak, who don't want to be caught.

In that part of the internet, everything happens, that simple.

          1.    Windousian said

I'm not talking about the private sites that nobody knows about. I'm talking about the ones you can find in public directories (like TORDIR: https: // dppmfxaacucguzpc.tor2web.org). That's what most call DW. If you are interested in stories to keep you from sleeping and mental illness ... I am not going to discuss your tastes but that also exists on the visible web.

I hope a lot of pedophiles think about it being a lawless place. Europol has already caught a few who thought they were safe.

In my previous comment I say that there are activists using these tools. Whether they do good or bad things will depend on who you ask. In any case, I have not written that it is bad to enter the DW. It is also not bad to search for treasure in landfills if you take the appropriate measures. What squeaks me is the aura of mystery that surrounds this topic. Many release tons of adrenaline and cold sweats when visiting that parallel reality, excited by fear or curiosity. They think they are very special. Gentlemen, you are diving through shit, hard to find anything other than rats and crap. Anyone can create an .onion and tease the staff. You can see something that seems like a discovery and it is actually stupid. Hardly anyone is who they say they are.

There is a different invisible Internet. In fact, most of the Internet is invisible and is not part of the I2P, TOR, Freenet, ... What takes up more space are the databases of sites like http://www.loc.gov/index.html. And the visible Internet is not without its dangers. Some shit with the .onion and enter the .tk carefree. If CAIMEO raised his head ...

To a large extent and as in all the sites and people who talk about the deep web, it deviates reality as we are going to compare the tor network in levels ¬_¬, if it is the same as the network we know .com .net etc, only that they are using the tor network for .onio domains nothing new just configure a server to point it to the tor network there are many guides on the internet to do it and to access from our browser anonymously without downloading anything they can do it from here http://tor2web.org/.

PD it is better to investigate before getting gunned down the tor network is free and you can find anything there without control and also several countries have managed to block access to the tor network.

    1.    dwarf said

In fact, the separation by levels is mostly about content, not the network itself. The network does not change at any level, the only thing that changes is the content and of course, the way of access. With the normal web browser, without anything, you cannot enter a network with .onion domains

      1.    Windousian said

Change the extension ".onion" to ".tor2web.org" and you can enter with a normal web browser.

        1.    Alvin said

Yes, but they catch your IP and if you are looking for secrets or pr0n or ** snuff, they catch you and quickly the route to jail does not wait!

      2.    Root said

If you can enter since tor2web resolves the domains and browsing from tor2web is much safer than vidalia and even faster, since we can even configure our browser with an elite proxy and access from tor2web since it does not send our header data and with deactivate javascript we are more than safe just to browse and view content.

Here you have a test that can be accessed from a normal browser and much more secure than vidalia.

        tormail

Blocking it is no joke. With any nextgen firewall with a good ips.
The detail is that not all countries regulate their internet traffic well (or cannot because of economic details).

Why do you think many proxy servers are in third world countries or free piracy?

Hello, excellent post to start the year, very good topic this is the third post that I read completely and even the comments in: https://blog.desdelinux.net/I have only read three posts completely, but I consider this first, because it has many comments, and it is a very controversial topic. It is interesting and I was entertained reading and especially the comments, and I was also encouraged to leave my contribution is my second comment that I leave in https://blog.desdelinux.net/ I liked it and the subject is interesting. Regards. 😀

Well, a while ago I entered, I did not go very deep (I just went through level 3). I was seeing if it was true about the "Suicide Mouse" (the suicide of Mickey Mouse), but did not look for it much. I didn't see anything traumatic either, although I did go through a page or two of warez.
P40n there is quite a lot, especially in the links of the Hidden Wiki. Very little caught my attention there.

Anyway, I don't know what things @nano and @Blaire Pascal have seen, but if they sound as traumatic as they say, I have not lived.

Tip: do not enter to pry, only if you are looking for something VERY VERY specific and recognize that things should NOT open. We are all warned.

In reality the dw is nothing more than an example of what the web would be like under anonymity, which is what really differentiates the content that tor protects and its system from "dns" .onion.

You already know what the human being is capable of under complete anonymity…. I guess there is only shit that does not have balls to share on the normal web, if that is what you are looking for, then surely there will be it while ...

Well the first time I enter here and I just find this topic and well what are we going to ...
I have entered to level 4 with TOR, changing the MAC and in public networks such as U, never from my house or something like that ... I was looking for hacking and fuestes codes which I found and lots ... in the hidenwiki you can find a search engine that makes things a bit easier. Personally, I have never come across something unpleasant because to see something like that you have to be looking for something similar to make them appear ... there are some pages where they show you how to delete and deactivate some things that openoffice and Microsoft office have that they use to know the things that one writes and all that, I found him a little paranoid but I did it anyway xD ...

I have realized that most of the people who talk about DW are nothing more than groups of posers who because they have a virtual Linux distro, because they have a computer science degree (that most do not finish) or because they know how to use computer tools. cracking already feel like hackers.

Finish your career, take charge of the security of a bank or become certified in ethical hacking and now if you are taken seriously by professionals and experts in the field of information technology.

There is no such thing as levels, it is just a graph to show how great the deep internet is, you will never find an image or a website that says "congratulations, you passed level number 2!" I recommend you not to enter, there are very few interesting things and from now on I tell you, that of marianas web does not exist.

I entered that website, the truth is there is nothing to see, that is, everyone says they saw chilling things, the truth has been, I have seen ugly things like the beheadings on the narco blog in ajua, I hate child porn.

But going back to the topic try to enter and you will run into a lot of broken links or that do not lead anywhere to do anything with what they say, or perhaps the page is not as before, on the links that many say they have and not they share is because they don't have them, come in and see there is nothing. only that we see on youtube in the pseudo tutorials on how to enter and many stories that when investigating are lies, so I entered believing it was true and what a disappointment THERE IS NOTHING NEW

Why are you a detractor of Java? one of the best programming technologies that currently exist ... if you are able to explain it to me clearly ... Android is purely JAVA, and surely you have an android mobile ... a good part of the code of any application or program that you surely use, is written in JAVA and also, Java is free and free, what is the problem?

I always recommend browsing safely, not everything is bad in the deep web, but we can find very unpleasant things that we are not looking for, so it is best to do it through links that guarantee privacy and the specific content we are looking for, like this we will avoid surprises.

En http://www.deepweb.es There is a lot of information on how to access it, safe navigation links, screenshots in case we dare not enter, and news about the hidden internet.

To increase your security a little more, I recommend you access the DW from a "live-cd" or the "guest session" of the OS to avoid compromising your personal data stored on the hard disk. In addition, it is recommended to have a firewall installed to close the input ports that are normally open by default.

Today I was watching a video of Lisa Lam, so I went to tor and another program to hide my ip and went to the deep web, just to find more information about this girl who died in a very strange way and the video that the hotel captured from she appears making strange gestures and hiding from someone not seen in the video. The thing is, I didn't find anything, it must be because I only entered a few pages, one of them was Onionchan, and just by reading the titles of the people who "offered or exchanged" photos and videos, I was plop, I couldn't even look. I do not consider myself a coward, but in my way of seeing the deep web, there are many bizarre pages such as onion chan. In other words, reading a title "I am selling a newborn baby" or "I exchange photos of a 14-year-old girl for photos of a 9 to 14-year-old girl", left me thinking "thankfully these pages are difficult to find", because it only shows what cruel, macabre, bizarre and abnormal that human can be. I was ashamed of others.

Very rich report from nano, to which I could only pay the highlights in https://zarza.com/internet-profunda-deep-web/ ; where we talk about the legal market for monitoring services, which are increasingly contracted to protect databases, user accounts, and alert to security problems before they are reported worldwide. If it is of your consideration, a recommended reading.

Many of the things that I have seen are out of the dw
I think it has too much hype
Although it is true that there are videos and instructions to make homemade weapons, or explosives that not everyone should see.
As for the snuff, it is a montage here and in China and whoever thinks otherwise is delusional.
If it is useful in getting things done more quickly.
And of course, there is child pornography, but where not?
    I get embarresed.
I think this is like the whole internet, you have to use it, not that they use you.
