For reasons that I do not know, what was going to be No. 10 could not come out in August and what came out was more of a preview of what is now No. 11. So here you go. No. 11.

At the end of the post we add the Press Release that Eugenia Bahit sent us regarding the launch of the month of August

1) Protecting Grub
2) Creation of .deb Packages

5) Understanding the source code of SVG files created with Sozi and Inkscape

Hackers & Developers Magazine «Change»

With issue No. 11, the change came ...

Hackers & Developers Magazine changed and this change is not only external; As of this edition, the renewal of the Hacker Team is accompanied by new sections in the magazine, which we present in this note.

Last August, was the month of the eleventh edition of Hackers & Developers Magazine, when a health problem that left Eugenia Bahit -the magazine's editorial manager- hospitalized - added to a lack of intelligence in the delivery and compilation of articles (which had already been making noise in the team for a few editions ago), leaving to the world of hacking and Software Engineering, without a "formal" publication of issue number 10 of the aforementioned magazine.

But from the old saying "Every cloud has a silver lining", great changes have arisen and one of them, is the one that from the end of September, will accompany the successive editions of Hackers & Developers Magazine and of which, there has been an incipient advance that replaced the publication of the 10th edition and which the magazine itself called "Change", letting one read between the lines, that the change that was coming would be important enough to justify this new name.

From this new installment of Hackers & Developers Magazine, which can be freely downloaded since Monday, September 30, 2013 from the Official Website (www.hdmagazine.org), the stable team of the magazine will be permanently made up of: Eugenia bahitWho
continues to be in charge of the project; Maria Jose Montes Diaz, Miracles Infante Montero and the novel incorporation of paul bernard, host of the #linuxIO program, who joined as collaborator special from the Mozilla Foundation.

The rest of the authors and editors of the magazine are sponsored by one of the members of the stable team, thus setting a precedent for new incorporations, which must unfailingly have an endorsement of meritorious prestige within the team.

But the change is not limited only to the conformation of the Staff and its internal policies; true transformation, is reflected from this number of Hackers & Developers Magazine and it will continue to do so in the issues it publishes month after month, with the incorporation of new sections such as MozillaZonee IT & Law, the latter, intended for legal information on Software licenses and computer law, which add up to a distinguished content of high academic value, accompanied by a new format, simple but elegant and incredibly - despite its status as an electronic magazine- intended for the care and protection of the environment.

From this new stage, Hackers & Developers Magazine promises not to skimp on large and innovative changes, which leads us to conclude that we will have to be careful not to miss them.

And that's why on Debian I use Iceweasel, because the weasel is friendlier than the fox.
