Vasak OS

Other new distros on the DistroWatch waiting list for August 2024

For this past month of August 2024 there were no more new Distros on the DistroWatch Waitlist. Since, Red OS was repeated again for this date, and we already addressed it in the part 5 of this series. For this reason, and just like with GoldenDog Linux, we invite you to learn about another GNU/Linux Distro project that is still under development (alpha phase). Therefore, it will probably take a long time to reach the DistroWatch Waiting List. And its name is: Vasak OS.

Vasak OS is an Argentinian-origin Arch Linux-based distro. Unlike other GNU/Linux “distros”, it does not seek to reduce the consumption of hardware resources. Instead, it seeks to perform a good preload and an optimal use of resources to improve the user experience and the fluidity of the system. In addition, and due to the very nature of Arch Linux, it seeks to offer a completely updated system that does not need to be fragmented into versions. In this way, all users will always be able to access the newest software. About Vasak OS
