Other new distros on the DistroWatch waiting list for the month of November 2024
And for this past November month of 2024, it is important to note that another new Distro has also been included in the DistroWatch Waiting List whose name is PureDarwin. Which is a Distribution created as a community project that fills the gaps so that Darwin, Apple's open source operating system that forms the basis of macOS, is usable by the Linuxverse Community.
While PureDarwin's development has been relatively slow, the project continues to move forward thanks to contributions from the community. PureDarwin is focused on creating a usable boot system that is independent of macOS components and relies solely on Darwin and other open source tools. The main goal of the project is to provide useful documentation and make it easier for developers and open source enthusiasts to interact with Darwin.
