ubugod is a simple script developed by paul villa that we pIt allows to automatically install a series of programs and plugins for Ubuntu Gnome. It is in charge of updating the system, installing and configuring various programs, as well as adding various add-ons for customizing our distro.
The add-ons and applications that this tool installs automatically are the following:
- Arc Theme.
- Papirus and Paper icons.
- Chromium.
- vlc.
- Gimp.
- Brackets
- SublimeText 3.
- Caliber eBook.
- air crack.
- airscript.
- reopen.
- Steam.
- playonlinux.
The script is in charge of adding the official repositories of the application, executing the installation commands, moving to the necessary directories and verifying the installation.
How to run Ubugod
Enjoying the benefits of Ubugod is extremely simple, we just have to clone the official repository of the script and run it as sudo. The commands to execute to achieve this are the following:
git clone https://github.com/paulvilla/ubugod.git cd ubugod / sudo sh install.sh
The script will verify if you are connected to the internet and will begin to install all the aforementioned applications, the process will depend on your internet connection and the execution speed of your computer.
