Ubuntu One Files for Android added support for Instagram

Canonical has updated Ubuntu One Files for Android with support for Instagram. Obviously, Canonical wants to put more emphasis on the cloud and has updated its Ubuntu One Files mobile application for Android where the inclusion of support for Instagram.

The new product review has support for automatic uploads from other photo applications, as well as the ability to share links on Facebook, Twitter and other social networks.

Support has been added not only for Instagram, but now integration with the native application of the camera of your smartphone has been included, with which from now on we can take a photo with both the camera application and with Instagram and these will be stored directly in your Ubuntu One cloud account, syncing with all your linked computers.

With this we can access our photographs from wherever we want without having to have our mobile device at hand and also save a backup of the images taken and edited with Instagram. A few small tweaks have also been made to the user interface and the mobile connection has been optimized for greater battery savings.

Ubuntu One Files for Android also presents improvements in the user interface and some functionalities have been added to have more options when configuring the application, both to save energy and to avoid incurring extra roaming costs. Ubuntu One Files for Android works on terminals equipped with Android 2.1 or higher, and the download size is 1,4 MB.
