VOR: Entertaining game of avoiding meteorites

The vast majority of users like complex games, with missions, campaigns and endless options. You just have to see the popularity of (for example) the farm game that we find on Facebook, there are even games of the same type on the internet, Windows users can easily download Farm Heroes Saga, those of us who use GNU / Linux have available Family farm.

The point is that others prefer somewhat simpler, less dense or complex games, because sometimes we just want to spend a few minutes away from our tasks or work, a few minutes of entertainment.

BEFORE

Game designed to kill a few minutes, consists of avoiding colliding with meteorites that will appear on the screen.

To boost or control our ship we just have to press the arrow keys, that is, Up, Down, Left and Right.

The objective of it is to keep us alive as long as possible, 2 minutes, 10 minutes, as long as they can. You have a total of 3 lives or opportunities for it, when you hit the meteorites those three times the game ends for you 😀

VOR installation

To install it let's find (and install) the package called in which is in our official repository. For example, in Debian, Ubuntu and derivatives it would be:

sudo apt-get install vor

If you don't have Debian or Ubuntu I already said, look for the package called in In your official repository, you install it and then search for the game through the application menu as you would with any other.

The end!

Well there is not much more to say, for those who like games like FIFA or Call of Dutty, VOR will simply not be attractive to them.

I would like a version for Android, that is, to be able to download and install BEFORE on our smartphone with the same ease with which we can download (for example) Farm Heroes Saga, it would be interesting to play something like that on the cell phone.

I hope you found it of interest, this is another of those many games that we have available in our repository, here at DesdeLinux we try to help them discover as many games for linux as we can.

regards

It will not be those of us who use Linux, instead of "those of us who use Windows have Family Farm available." 😛

Interesting, I didn't know him ... I'm going to see him to see what happened ...

Off Topic: Not to bother you for a couple of minutes by your user agent, but are you using Chromium from Ubuntu / Kubuntu / Xubuntu / eOS or Chromium from Arch now compile it into Ubuntu and convert the .deb into .pkg. tar.gz with alien?

No. I wrote that comment from a PC with Kubuntu .. 😉

And with that, they already beat me to find a game for GNU / Linux that Windows users don't know about.

They made me remember when I was playing this great game on my mother's cell phone, but I also played it on my PS1 in an NES emulator specially designed for it.

It is not for trolling, but the truth is, it makes me feel sad and I worry that already in 2014 we will have this type of mefiocres little games in Linux.

It's like the Blobby Volley they posted here long ago - insanely entertaining and ridiculously difficult.
