I no longer remember how long ago I became a staff member in FromLinux, I remember yes, that I came to the page looking for information about some distros and about LMDE, then I just started to interact with the boys and wrote my first article ... from that point to today the growth of FromLinux It has been explosive and we have gone through several victories and several inconveniences as well.
Our first 100 visits was that first victory, I was barely making it to the group and it was what actually made me realize that I had gotten on a site destined to be successful.
Then enter the top 5 of the Linux Ranking, another great achievement without a doubt, much more for a site maintained almost exclusively by two Cubans, with all their limitations, they could reach that at that time ... for me, something spectacular and more reason to continue collaborating.
Then it was to form the staff, the real one, an official staff that at that time was larger (today there are only 4 main members left), which gave us that air of «now we are officially a work team»(XD) and it helped us take the project more seriously.
But since everything is not rosy, we have had problems, and they have not been for less ...
With our previous hosting, the place always slowed us down, we had problems with the "crahses" of the databases and all because "have exceeded the maximum number of visits that their plan offers them" something like "They're getting too successful come on give us money, more money«… Lousy service and lousy handling of your customers.
Problems with some users that we had to ban, although they were not large-scale problems, they were problems and we don't like having to get to that point.
We have also had failed attempts, such as the < ° Live xD, a total failure because we could not pay any streaming company, also several contests such as < ° Wallpapers that was left in limbo due to little participation… but they are things that help us to realize that there is something missing and what is left over and then structuring better ideas.
Anyway, the hosting problems we were able to solve thanks to you, the community who helped us with your donations. Now we have better hosting, we were able to buy a VPS, renew the domain, in short, we are growing in resources to be able to offer more services, and all doing it from below, with donations, with a couple of banners sold and with effort ... of course, everything motivated by you, that if you did not support us, this today could not even be achieved in dreams.
And now we have this last great event, the million visits ... it cannot be, we achieved the million visits, this is great and makes us feel fulfilled because in a year (there are just a few days until it is fulfilled) we have gone through so many things that are hard to believe, but here we are, looking puzzled at that large number and thinking what surely you must be thinking while reading this ... So now what?
The future is not distant and we want to do many things, although it is not easy we want to add many more services, events, and grow more. Our goal is to make everyone better ... From Linux, just wait and enjoy 
