Dear readers, users, collaborators and editors of DesdeLinux:
The day we were waiting for has finally arrived and we have talked so much about through social networks.
Today is a very important day for us, not only because we are launching a new design, but also because we will have the pleasure of announcing something of much greater scope. The news will cheer many, surprise others and is as follows:
DesdeLinux has merged with Let's use Linux.
Yes, they are reading well, Let's use Linux, that excellent blog that has been maintained for many years by our friend and now colleague Paul Castagnino. But don't believe me, you can read the statement that Pablo wrote personally.
And it is that nobody can reject a millionaire offer, which includes an annual payment of $ 500 with a business car and other top-secret agreements. U_U
Joking apart. It fills us with pride, pleasure and satisfaction to include Pablo in our team, who has proven to be an exceptional blogger.
About the merger
This is arguably the most important step we've taken in the two years we've been online. What is the merger? Well, it's very simple:
- From this moment on, Pablo becomes a Official Administrator of this blog (titled with honors, and flush with the ears).
- All articles published in Let's use Linux You can consult them right here (I will show you how later).
- The official accounts and communities in social networks of DesdeLinux, will now be those of Let's use Linux. Therefore, this means that we will have a greater number of users.
Any questions you may have regarding the merger, you can reflect it through the comments of this post.
About the design
After making more than 3 mockups, layout them, program them, see that everything was crap, remake, reprogram, discuss the changes, throw things at us and hate each other through emails, we decided to stick with the topic that they are now seeing and that I clarify: It is in beta, as more changes are coming.
We have taken details and elements from the current theme of Let's use Linux, and at the same time, we have added details of our previous theme, we have mixed it, we have put colors and this has been the result.
It may be better? Sure you do, but believe me when I tell you that this has been by far the best theme we have designed and programmed for DesdeLinux to date.
A lot of bugs that are present in the previous theme are fixed, tables have been styled, and the theme is supported and fits differently in resolutions:
- 320 × 480
- 360 × 640
- 768 × 1024
- 800 × 1280
- 980 × 1280
- 1024 × 1280
- 1280 × 600
- 1366 × 768
- 1920 × 900
And vice versa. If your resolution differs from the previous ones or if one of them does not display the issue correctly, please share it with us to solve it.
Details and news
I think that the main change or novelty that we must highlight is the evolution of our logo. A new project has started, and therefore a change in our image was imposed. As you can see, we changed the Slogan, and readjusted some details.
Previously we could identify DesdeLinux using the following characters: <°. Now, we can use: <°, <«, whichever you prefer.
When we come across an article that has been previously published in Let's use Linux, we are going to know it for two things:
- Because of Pablo's writing style (of course).
- For an area that will tell us that the article is from Let's use Linux (see the following image)
Our main menu has grown. In addition to the usual services, we add other pages inherited from Let's use Linux which contain excellent information for new users.
You will be able to notice other changes in the cover, and the design in general. We have left behind some highly requested features by users, such as showing the distribution we are using, but don't worry, this will be back again very soon. Anyway, comments still have this functionality.
We have updated the Guide for CollaboratorsSo everyone who wants to participate will know how to do it.
My best wishes for the new project you have in hand, two of the great merged… this looks very good !!
Much success and luck !! 😀
Thank you friend 😉
It is valid to repeat, all this is still in the testing phase, we have not finished migrating Pablo's content from UsemosLinux, the theme still lacks some improvements and above all, we are waiting for the FeedBack that you, our readers, provide us 🙂
I just have to say... Welcome to a new DesdeLinux 😀
What does KZKG mean? Reading the news in Let's Use Linux I kept thinking, I think the key is to remember the word Kazekage.
It is NOT as difficult as Paul said.
XD
KZKG means precisely that, KaZeKaGe, that is, they are the consonants 🙂
For someone who has not seen that anime I imagine it must be difficult haha 😀
Greetings to the entire team, first of all, congratulate all of you for this great job you do and that you share all your knowledge with all of us, those of us who want to learn more about this great free software every day than once try and discover it there is no going back, you fall in love with all the great potential that you can develop with this great OS that is Linux.
Then as a proposal I would like that if possible you could develop a Linux course in general for beginners and not so beginners, I think it would be the jewel in the crown to finish off in this great Pad.
Without more a hug for everyone from Spain, Tarragona and wish you good luck and here you have another follower of each and every one of your posts and articles.
I am a follower of the two blogs and the truth is I don't like the merger very much 😛 because nowadays it is difficult to find varied content and that is something that the two blogs offered me separately, but if everything changes for the better, my best wishes to you .
The idea is to provide the same unified content, all in one place 🙂
Well, the new design convinces me much more, the previous one did not quite work.
Congratulations on the merger, may it be long and prosperous 😉
Congratulations !!!, two pages of permanent consultation, from Argentina !!!
Big! High avatar! 🙂
Hug! Paul.
its design is very nice. I am a follower of desdelinux almost since it was born, and the content seems very arbitrary to me, there is no fanboyism of distros or programs. It's what I like the most here 😀
My two favorite sites merged ???? I just need my wife to tell me that she is pregnant to brighten the day. XDDDD
Joking aside, it seems like a big step to me. I hope it only brings success and more and better articles. Congratulations!
Thanks for the encouragement!
Cheers! Paul.
I like the new design. Hopefully with the merger the content does not deteriorate. I love this blog because it has an original touch. It almost seems that he is talking to the panas of all life.
Huge merger, I continue to both sites and I hope they all do well in this new journey that will surely lead to a much more powerful site in the GNU / Linux world.
regards
I saw the news on Let's Use Linux, and I really think it is a very good thing that will power the site. Congratulations 😉
I don't like this yellowish design xD
Haha!
For me, it added more personality to the site.
OO without words.
And we go for more ... 🙂
Excellent! I follow them both and I really liked this new theme. I hope everything goes to 101% 🙂
Oh my gosh, what a hit! I loved how you have joined the blogs in such a short time, seriously, I can't wait to see how this progresses 😀
A huge greeting, linuxeros !!
Thank you! We hope to be able to finish the migration in the next few days.
Hug! Paul.
Ahead..
The community is abandoned DesdeLinux to use the UsemosLinux one from now on?
If you mean the G + community, yes.
The same with other social networks, including RSS.
Hug! Paul.
Great!!! Two greats come together !!! What I like the most is the penguin from Home 🙂
First of all, the design change is a very nice touch, both in the view and in the arrangement of the themes.
Second, but not least, quite the opposite, I believe that the best solution was chosen, that Pablo have the opportunity to continue adapting to the changes in his personal life and not completely withdraw from collaborating with us with his articles.
Exactly, very well said.
A hug! Paul.
Congratulations on the merger that has come out. Actually, it is more pleasant this change that really makes me identify one or another component of the blog, besides that I hope they give me a position of moderator or editor so that I can moderate some comments from trolls (I do not ask to be an admin because their work they are doing wonders).
They have left me with my mouth open, the truth was news that I did not expect. Let's use Linux was from my beginnings in linux along with this blog my biggest source of information and usual reference, obviously it was one of my first RSS sources that I reviewed. Now that Pablo is here, I give him a great welcome, I hope that this union of efforts allows him to greatly lighten the burden of administrative tasks as he had already mentioned at some point in his blog and to be able to concentrate on his articles! Once again welcome!
PS: From what I see what is missing are issues to be touched, but from what I read in Pablo's article, the domain will remain the same due to the payment issue, but will it be considered in the future to change it? With the issue of communities in G +, what are you going to do? Will the <º Linux community join the Let's Use Linux community?
Look, to give you a short answer:
All those who want to follow the posts of DesdeLinux They should stop following social networks DesdeLinux and go to the UsemosLinux social networks (which are the ones that appear in the new sidebar of this blog – see above on the right). This includes: RSS, Twitter, Facebook and Google+ (including community).
As simple as that.
Hug! Paul.
Luckily I frequent the page directly.
Well, I love the new design .. And as I said before in Let's Use Linux, it fills me with pleasure to see the two sites that I frequent the most together ..
Fusion 2.0 !!! wow .. !!
Whats Next??
Create your own distro? (as happened with ubuntucosillas, now lmde cosillas and that already has its own LMDE)
Who knows? Maybe one day Cubans will rule the world .. !! (or at least the linux world) hehehehe… !!
<º "From Now Let's Use Linux
Congratulations from Mexico.
Another .deb?
by the way, the resolution 1024 × 768 the menu looks like on the cell phone.
Thanks for the comment.
Send me a screenshot to kzkggaara[at]desdelinux[dot]net to review it.
I actually use 1024 × 768 and I don't see anything weird ^ - ^
I see it well I have no problem using Firefox + Winbugs
Both pieces of news are incredible, the design is great and the fusion fills the heart with joy. Long life to desdelinux and let's use linux.
The site was excellent for them, the merger will surely provide new content and the new design, although it still lacks a polished one, it was great.
For me, it was excellent. Also, I hope they add a slideshow and it would obviously be much more attractive.
great my two favorite blogs in one.
By the way, I forgot to say it in my comment, I really liked the new design of the blog, also the integration in the side panel with social networks (as it was in Let's Use Linux) and at the bottom of the page, although maybe that is It would be a suggestion that I would make both the "Latest Tweets" and the "Facebook" sections also on the side panel.
Hold on Argentina! I am a follower of both, one question What about RSS feeds?
UsemosLinux rss is used
http://feeds.feedburner.com/usemoslinux
What a surprise this fusion, by the way I loved the design !!!!
«Previously we could identify DesdeLinux using the following characters:
<°. Now, we can use: <°, <”, whichever you prefer."
And can they do it with
And by the way, CONGRATULATIONS on the merger, we all win !!!
I like this fusion, but it seems that there are more things about Let's Use Linux than about DesdeLinux, it bothers me about social networks, why doesn't UsemosLinux just disappear? Why did they make the r
The other way round? It cut me off
I think it is because in social networks, UsemosLinux has more users.
Exactly, you have to go for the practical.
My 2 Favorite Linux Blogs Join Forces 🙂
CONGRATULATIONS.
You already know that "the whole is more than the sums of the parts", so your readers expect a result of greater creativity than if they had only remained separated and read their posts separately 😉
Well, I already left my comment in UsemosLinux and now, touch here.
First of all, I think this is the first big decision of the team in which I have nothing to do with it, that makes me a little sad because I have seen the project grow and I have worked on it almost from the beginning (since its 3 or 4 months of life, I think) and lately it has cost me a bolt and a half to adapt my time (in fact now I make a hole because I am up to my neck) Why deny it? I miss the couple of fucking these and fuck with them from time to time.
BTW, that does not take away anything, Pablo I already spoke to you in that post and more than extending my hand I cannot, introduce myself? I think we have already run into more than once, anyway, again, Nano, the one known as «incorrect» and dubbed by others as «the most incorrect webshow driver for linux in Spanish» ... bullshit out, thanks to that Now you are an Admin, that position is left to someone who can exercise as such and let me do what I am good at, BOFH, editor-in-chief, OrtoNazi, the quality firewall xD
Seriously guys, I love you, let's see how far we get now ... absence is not dismissal, nor departure.
I hope to have an editor position, as asking for an admin position is asking too much. I hope that later on they will migrate from WordPress to Drupal so that the platform is faster, more robust and at the forefront of specialized websites.
My two favorite pages united in one. Excellent!
Strengthening the Argentine-Cuban bond 🙂
I did not know around here, I like it. Force guys, you are doing something of great value.
wow! wow! wow!
The two sites that are a daily must-see, whatever you have to do, merged! It is news of great weight!
Well, what better, I'm sure the idea is to provide continuity and better content around the theme that brings us together.
Best wishes in advance, the theme looks great!
Greetings.
Congratulations on all the changes, you look great.
Greetings all.
To tell the truth, I was surprised by the sudden change that this blog has undergone for the better, since the visual aspect has been well done, and it really is more pleasing to the eye than the previous topic (and to think that I suffered when seeing this page in Chromium).
On the other hand, I like this new decision that the team of DesdeLinux, so I hope that in the future they will migrate from WordPress to Drupal, although I am already preparing to manage websites with that platform and launch my website with that CMS (I don't blame WordPress, but with Drupal I feel that I have learned more than with WP).
Anyway, if you want, you can consider me as editor and / or moderator (for now, no admin), in addition to being able to use #IRC in the best possible way.
Congratulations on the change.
Before with Chromium you looked bad? O_O
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA, I don't think that right now we are thinking of leaving WordPress, not because it is the best CMS far from it, but because of several comforts it offers us, there are many reasons why we use WP 🙂
Regarding becoming an Editor, there are several changes that we will make related to the current ranks and privileges, but right now we are very busy with other tasks of bugs, improvements and migration of content from uL to DL so the ranks will have to wait for a little 😉
Thanks for your comment, friend
Leave WordPress? Pfff, I would rather use Windows before that happens. Oh wait ...
It is not to show off, but WordPress is very tedious to correct the bugs of the themes when compared to Drupal. In addition, the comforts that Drupal provides with WordPress in EyeCandy would scare even the most newbie, but I am adapting to that environment due to its simple handling of themes at the code level, but I am trying hard to learn how to use Drush to update automatically my site not to screw up when I am on hosting.
I'm not going to argue about this topic because everyone has their opinion, but is it really simpler to create a theme for Drupal than for WordPress? Please show me.
Hey, I found the new song weird, and I find that they merged. Well, very well, it is a much more than excellent decision.
Congratulations on the merger and makeover!
I really like the new image… but that penguin who commands at the beginning looks like a pea in a box of Corn Flakes. It's the only thing that makes me jump, otherwise everything is very nice.
HAHAHAHAHAHA that penguin was really nice, that's why we put it LOL !!!
If you know or have someone else that is an SVG or PNG (but with quality), let me know 😉
And you see ... this, this is the type of change that I was telling you a while ago 😀
LOL…! Snails! It's not that I dislike the penguin, just that I don't see that it matches the style of the new image ...
The changes are looking very good and, it seems to me, the merger of both blogs will mean a definitive takeoff in the quality of the content, I think that this alliance will pay off very well.
¡Felicidades!
This is great!!! Congratulations to Pablo for joining DesdeLinux wow
I want to clarify that what I liked the most about usemoslinux was the openness to the community and the invitation to share and participate, that is more important to me than anything else, to the administrators and collaborators, congratulations guys.
With 500,000 thousand dollars a year and a business car, even I would join you, hehehe, greetings, I'm glad the news. Keep it up, I know this will be much better.
Congratulations!
I am a reader of both blogs and this is excellent news.
Many successes in this new stage =)
I hope you do very well in this new stage.
I like the new design of the page.
Congratulations!!! I am sure it will be excellent.
I simply loved the new design: 3 many congratulations and by the way, publish your tutorials to make them so good from scratch. It would be a very good series of articles, that although it is not precisely linux I bet that more than one would appreciate it 😀
Great! I have no words to describe it… Simply magnificent hahaha 🙂 Congratulations people
The two blogs about Linux in Spanish that I follow since I almost started using Linux and they come together!
… OSOM * - *
Congratulations!!! What good news !!
Ahem ... When do you release the new song? I like it!! hehehe
Regards!
Hehehe .. little by little. The subject is not 100% polished. 😉
Congratulations!! The 2 blogs that I read every day together, this will be great for sure!
Amazing!
I get home at 23:30 p.m., I go in Desde Linux, new look and surprise news. I honestly thought it was some kind of joke. I check the Let's Use Linux feed and the posts from Desde Linux. A great surprise. Much, much success!
I also liked the design a lot, especially the fact that the background is not a complete white, kinder to the eye, so they don't kill my eyes.
HAHAHAHAHA some kind of joke? … LOL!
We have been working on this for a long time, it is a pleasure to finally break the news 🙂
Thanks for your comment
Desde Linux and Let's Use Linux, mandatory references for all Spanish-speaking Linux users. Now you are moving forward together, sincere congratulations.
Thank you for your comment 😀
Congratulations on the merger !!!
As for the new design, I don't like that two columns come out. It becomes more difficult to know the chronological order of the posts.
Greetings.
This theme is not the final or definitive, there is still some adjustments to be made, let's say it is only at 70% ... when we take it to 100% you will see how comfortable it will be to know which posts are from today, those from yesterday, etc 😉
In fact, there will be more than 2 columns, everything will be better ... but that is still missing.
Thanks for your comment
My greetings. I tell you that I am a follower of both blogs, both on their Facebook account and via email, and I congratulate them, because they are both excellent blogs that have helped me a lot in my recent foray into the SWL world. There is only one thing I would like to clarify, when do they merge, by what means should I subscribe to continue receiving emails?
Hello and welcome.
Thank you for your comment, all the changes we make are always for the better 🙂
In the siderbar of the site (bar on the right) are the links to subscribe, you can follow us on RSS or you can receive the posts in your Email 😉
regards
Excellent!
I already said why articles from DesdeLinux in the Let's Use Linux XD feed
Well nothing, then welcome Pablo to the community.
I have a feeling that champagne will rain everywhere tonight: D.
Congratulations guys 😀
I WISH YOU THE BEST IS IN THIS new adventure.
Follower of the two communities.
One of the best news for me this month
I like the union of these 2 magnificent web pages.
Greetings and Thanks
Go ahead!
Very good news, and much more content for the blog.
When I see how you design the designs, I only think that there are people who charge for doing things like that and it doesn't even reach the sole of your shoes, you have a lot of level.
Well, if you know someone who wants to design & program a theme, a complete site or blog, a web application ... something like that, we would be eternally grateful if you let us know. We always try to raise money to be able to pay for the hosting.
Thanks for commenting 🙂
Congratulations on the merge and on the new design, it looks great!
congratulations on the union,
(all) Let them kiss, let them kiss !!!!
I congratulate you guys… the page is excellent.
Blog Trunk !!!. Congratulations to ALL the group that worked to make the union a reality.
Whoops! Congratulations! Although to some it seemed like a mistake, because the only way to keep that spirit alive from both blogs is to merge forces, although I regret having removed an RSS entry from my Thunderbird 🙁 Congratulations to Alejo, Ernesto, Pablo, etc.
Kudos!
Thank you all really. This fusion will only bring many good things, as we combine Pablo's style with his excellent articles to ours.
Thank you all for your excellent comments and feedback. Now the only thing left to do is to polish the subject further, to finish successfully migrating the Let's Use Linux articles and of course, to continue providing quality articles.
Congratulations for the new design and for the merger of the two blogs, now they have become something much bigger and more important, I always follow you and I am excited to read this news, here I will be waiting for your posts as always
Mamonazos, fusion was compiz fusion had 2 readings and now only one.
That you are so geeks that you don't have TV?
Neither 720p or 1280 x 720 nor 1080p 1920 x 1080, but if they are also the most common in modern computers, look that you are rare
Said without irony, congratulations, may it be nice to you and remember that there are 16: 9 screens with 720p and 1080p resolutions and that they are the best sellers.
We can't cover everything. Initially we made the adjustments according to the ranking of resolutions that Google Analytics provides us. This will be corrected little by little.
Well, something must be wrong in the analytics 1080p and 720p are also common on mobile devices.
It would not be bad at all to add a DM detector and resolutions next to Browser and distro, mine is
Chrome Manjaro XFCE 720p
If you have problems with any resolution, take a screenshot and send it to me by email at kzkggaara[at]desdelinux[dot]net
By the way ... suckers? … ¬_¬
The new design is nice, it shows that both sites have merged, and gives the warm tone that the other blog has. Congratulations to both of you for making this decision! this news is very pleasant
Thank you very much for the comment 🙂
I forgot a suggestion
In G + you could create a COMMUNITY where in addition to publishing articles, other topics that could also inspire you would be written.
With less than 1000 members the Manjaro Linux community in Spanish is great
With that of the 15.000 followers about 1000 or 2000 that we sign up, they will make it attractive, and the notifications are more relevant - all the new publications appear in the notifications area grouped without disturbing much either - I personally read you now by feedly despite having you in G + -
From the communities, in addition, you almost have to click the link if you are interested in the entry and from RSS you do not
Great news!!! They are the two blogs that I follow the most apart from The look of the replicant.
Very nice theme, very modern. I wish you success.
The design is horrendous, it looks like Metro UI on Linux
Now everything that is flat and has colors is METRO? Uff, don't say it too much, lest Microsoft patent the idea.
They are capable, with the little ingenuity they have they will say that they have discovered the colors
And another ... the comments of Disqus or even those of G + are more comfortable that these are scored, you can discover interesting virtual friends, that if I like the improved identifier although my Manjaro still does not identify it
What I don't like about Disqus is that the comments then wouldn't be in the site's DB, so… when it comes to making a backup, working locally, experimenting, we couldn't use the comments (at least not in a relatively simple way).
We'd rather be able to keep improving our own comment system, at least I think so.
Regarding the fact that Manjaro does not recognize you, I personally supported it, it is enough that Chromium / Chrome indicates that it is that distro, I imagine you will have to modify the UserAgent.
Congratulations and congratulations!
I followed the two posts so now I will have it more comfortable :).
A request: could you include Disqus in your commenting system?
Thanks for commenting 🙂
Disqus? Personally, I prefer to keep the comments system in the same place, that is, not to depend on others, that everything is in the same DB, however you have to see what Pablo and Elav think.
regards
+1
And also Disqus in slow networks is a real crap.
I think the reason many recommend Disqus is because it is more convenient to follow up on comments. If something like this could be implemented, that when they answer you in an article, you skip a notification or have a small place to see if they have responded would be good.
It's just an idea.
I do not like Disqus, it transforms any web page into a social network (in fact that is the idea of its creators) taking away seriousness
Me neither. Also, I have to be logged in to Disqus to find out about each comment as soon as the site has been published ... I don't know, it makes me stressful.
I'm not saying that Disqus is implemented, but something that tells you if they answered you in a previous post, at least to those of us who are registered.
By the way, I loved the new avatar like G +.
I hate them, but they are just tastes
I didn't like them, my cookie doesn't look good.
Small feedback, when I leave my comment it says [b] manage [b /] my subscriptions
Dear Elav and Gaara:
Congratulations on the progress of the project thanks to merge with Let's Use Linux. I follow them from the beginning, two years ago, when those of us who were commenting were few and Courage was dedicated to trolling in "good vibes" (before it was passed and was banned).
I hope they continue reaping successes.
Very big hug,
Carlos-Xfce.
I congratulate you, I really like the new "face" you gave to the blog, plus the idea of the merger was excellent to me because so much DesdeLinux like UsemosLinux are very good, and, on the other hand, there are already too many Linux blogs talking about the same thing; What's worse, there are some who set up a blog and only copy and paste what others publish.
My congratulations again, and go ahead and put the pedal to the metal.
And, @Elav, as you will see, I am using Debian that after reading and reading so much I already found a way that the laptop would not smell like "moss" for having it installed ... hahaha
Waoo two strong pages are merged is something that has no words!
Good template! _
Thanks
Excellent, I think it's excellent. Without words, I am excited. I am a follower of both. Excellent.
Many congratulations on the progress on the site, a pity that the spaces where the subject is written are reduced, but we know that the quality of the product will not be reduced at all, on the contrary it will increase because the two sites are extraordinary . Greetings from Uruguay
Wao! I love this new design it looks so clean .. Great job!
AAA MICROSFTTT SHAKES DESDELINUX IT GROWS AND GROWS AND WHEN YOU REALIZE IT IT WILL EAT YOU TOO! Hehe, just kidding, you three (Elav, Kaze and Pablo) have taken me by surprise, I haven't visited the two pages since last week and I find this, And well, I feel a little bad because it won't be like yesterday to see what's new on the two pages that one has so much love for, but I also understand that Pablo faces many things, new ones, and if he continued like that course, because it would probably end up like other defunct blogs. Cheer up guys, it's not a bad idea, only two things come to mind:
1) the insignia as such of let's use Linux and its art will not be lost, right?
2) the transaction they made with let's use linux was not like when bill gates bought homer simpson his business from the king of internet (you know with everything and office disastrous 🙂)?
Well thank you and go ahead, cheer up
For a moment I thought I had the wrong blog 😛 but I see the good news, and I like it !!
Your transition was made to wait since yesterday I could not enter the page, but I have to say something to you @elav, @ KZKG ^ Gaara ... this topic MOLA A HANDS FULL.
Very good theme for the blog, very clean and from 1024 × 768 it looks perfect, very good color palette, I congratulate you on your work.
Thanks ^^
hahahaha thanks friend, time without reading
Congratulations to all, wonderful unified blogs, I always read let's use linux but I didn't comment much on those sides.
Really congratulations, unification is not something common in the Linux world.
Greetings.
How great to have my two favorite blogs together.
I wish you every success in this new project.
Greetings from Mexico
I loved. Very good. And the cirtular avatars are spectacular. CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!
Winds, it was easier for me to enter, they go several times that I enter today without problems, I do not understand why suddenly I could not, only at times.
The new design looks great.
I really like the new style +1
as criticism it seems to me that 1 topic (article, note etc) per grid or whatever it is called would be better. since I notice that when putting 2 themes in some cases the images are distorted
Well, it seems great to me! first of all congratulations on the design, quite elegant.
Second welcome is Pablo Castagnino and the entire community of Let's Use Linux, we must remember that unity is strength, congratulations!
Congratulations!!
It has been a while since I saw the blog and I was surprised by the change of look. Something that I like a lot is that the author's name of a post appears at the beginning.
And the logo reminds me of Xfce!
The only thing I notice is that it takes a long time to enter and navigate between the topics, I have high speed internet.
Yes, we are working on it. To begin with, the main problem is that the images on the main page do not obey an exact size, that is, the theme takes the original image (with its weight and size) and shrinks it.
We have been clearing and clearing the site cache again, this makes when you enter a theme (for the first time) it is slower than normal, but then the next times it is much faster.
It's always slow, always?
Thanks for the report
I love this fusion, it's a great project.
Well let's wait and see what happens with the change, I have an account in identi.ca that moved to pump.io and has had its problems.
EXCELLENT colors and spectacular design.
Congratulations guys .. This was wonderful 😀
Well, I hope that the competitions for the best desktop of the month continue to be held (a very interesting initiative that I really enjoyed in usemoslinux) and allow people like me outside of social networks to participate.
Of course, all those successes, the great ideas that Pablo put into practice in UsemosLinux will continue here 🙂
There is no doubt that this fusion is the one between vegueta and goku, the strongest. Two great blogs, looking for improvements for both, decided this and it seems very appropriate, to join forces to fulfill a greater objective. The first step is the difficult thing and they have already taken it, so what is to come will be successes.
Ahead.
Wow!!!
I have followed both blogs for a long time, I have learned from both, and now that they have merged, conserving the best of each, it is almost a dream come true.
Seeing so much work put into it encourages any reader, this is undoubtedly progressing shoulder to shoulder in pursuit of the Linux community, they are the best.
A hug and congratulations.
😉
Congratulations on the renewal and merge of blogs!
Congratulations to Elav, Pablo and other collaborators! I hope that the new adventures in the fusion-blog give you many fruits! Is it exciting! A lot of strength and courage!
My sincerest congratulations elav, pablo and other collaborators! Much encouragement in this new and exciting project! What emotion! xD
Pd: it seems that the fusion has been well received in general 😉
Congratulations to all the boys of desdelinux, which from a small place, like its humble intentions, became this reference site that it is today.
And something that was not said I think, is that ... (where is the bold-bold !!)
One: the GNU / Linux world and its programmers, no matter how genius they may have, should learn or take this here as an example, contrary to the typical fraction of projects. I speak of THE UNIT.
Cheers guys !! for the unit !!
Wow, so congratulations on the merger. I must say that I am delighted with the idea, and I have fallen in love with the new theme 🙂 (in which by the way, they fixed many details and errors of the previous one and it looks great on my mobile phone). I hope this continues to grow and that it is a very profitable union 😀
What a news !!! I hope this new project goes smoothly 😉
The color is great, success as always!
* I run in circles for joy *
* Too late, this has days and I don't even know *
Although the subject is not ugly, I find it more comfortable subjects in which there is a vertical post and you can read more about the subject in question.
Congratulations.
And once again, congratulations !! ^ _ ^
excellent friends ... I think this blog is very cool and let's use linux too, it's good that they have merged
An excellent design and the fusion seems like a good choice to me. Unfortunately, there are many blogs about Linux in Spanish that seem like clones of each other. Desde Linux It is different and the merger with Usemos Linux can only lead to an increase in the already high quality of what is published.
A greeting from the other side of the pond.
Thanks for your comment, really.
