What is a Spice-style IC simulator. It is capable of designing a circuit through a very simple and easy to use graphical user interface. It is based on Qt libraries, and allows, among other things, to simulate high amplitude signals, small signal, etc. |
Qucs is developed under GNU / Linux but also works on Solaris, NetBSD, FreeBSD, MacOS, Windows, and Cygwin.
You can do something like a simulations sheet in which you add the simulation you need, as shown in the following figure.
This is very useful because it also allows you to print to a postscript file and thus be able to use this file in a latex or openoffice document.

It also has some quite interesting utilities in its menu, such as the design of a filter, the user selects the type of filter, cutoff frequency, etc. And the software calculates the filter and copies its electrical diagram to the clipboard. One can paste the schematic and so we can quickly design a filter.

Thanks for the great post on your blog, it really gives me a clear idea on this topic.
Excellent!!! Thank you very much… greetings from BC Mexico.
Interesting, I'll take a look when I have time.
