WikiBooks - What for?

Surely you open yourself wondering what to use it for? Or you didn't even know it existed.

WikiLibros (AKA WikiBooks) is a sister project to Wikipedia and part of the Wikimedia Foundation. The project is a collection of free content textbooks, manuals and other pedagogical texts, which are written and edited collaboratively just like Wikipedia.

The site works with wiki technology, which means that each user can collaborate in the writing of any book, by clicking on the "Edit" link that exists on each page.

Some of the early books were original, and others began to be copied from other open content book sources on the Internet.

All content on the site is under the Creative Commons Attribution / Share-Alike License. Because of that, as in Wikipedia, the content can be redistributed keeping the same license and attribution to the original authors.

Well, I already understand that it is Wikibooks but ... what is it for me?

Pretty good, to tell the truth. But as I am more involved in the editing of articles on Wikipedia, I hope they do not trolle the writing of articles like on Wikipedia.

Well, now they've kind of tightened up article monitoring a lot. You can no longer troll like before, but the truth is that the number of trolls that were on Wikipedia was spectacular.
