What is WoeUSB-ng?

- It can be installed with pip3 directly from the Internet, or downloaded with Git and installed with pip3.
- Supports Legacy PC/UEFI booting, FAT32 and NTFS file systems, and the use of a physical installation disk or disk image as the source. Also, native UEFI boot is supported on Windows 7 and later images (limited to FAT file system as target).
How is it installed on GNU/Linux?
For its installation and use on GNU/Linux, that is, for our practical case, we will use as usual, our usual MX Respin called Miracles, based on MX-21 (Debian-11), as can be seen in the following images, using the following commands in a terminal:
sudo apt install git p7zip-full python3-pip python3-wxgtk4.0 grub2-common grub-pc-bin
sudo pip3 install WoeUSB-ng
Instead, for your installation using Git There are 2 modes, which are as follows:
First, the following must be installed:
sudo apt install git p7zip-full python3-pip python3-wxgtk4.0 grub2-common grub-pc-bin
And then choose one of the 2 modes:
Mode 1
git clone https://github.com/WoeUSB/WoeUSB-ng.git
cd WoeUSB-ng
sudo pip3 install
Mode 2
git clone https://github.com/WoeUSB/WoeUSB-ng.git
cd WoeUSB-ng
git apply development.patch
sudo pip3 install -e

In short, the app "WoeUSB-ng" is a simple and practical app for generate a bootable Windows USB from GNU/Linux. because the issue of drivers and controllers prevents it. Being on Ubuntu makes it impossible
