WarMUX or as it was formerly known, Wormux, it is a clone of the classic Worms which I recommend if we want to spend an entertaining time playing both on the network, or against the PC.
The idea of the game is very simple. Two teams face off, each with the number of members we have configured and each one will attack the opponent in turn. For this the players have a weapons series y tools They can only be used once, depending on its options. You have to play taking into account the speed and direction of the wind.
The game has suffered (since the last time I had it installed) some changes to the interface, combat terrains and character design. In addition, it now includes the most peculiar sounds every time a player performs an attack. It can be played online as I said and it is multiplatform.
To install in Debian:
$ sudo aptitude install wormux
Sorry to bother you, but if you like Wormux, you haven't tried Hedgewars yet! xD
The truth is that Hedgewars is far superior, even, for my taste, more than TEAM17's own Worms. I recommend it 100%.
By the way, I think I remember reading that Wormux development has already ceased, right?
Well, I have tried both and I still stick with WarMUX. Maybe it's me, but I like your graphics better. They have fewer weapons, but everything is more fluid.
Yes, it may be that on less powerful computers it performs better. Either way, with both of them he has a nice time 😉
Well, what the hell, I test them both and dog to shit, I give the last word xD
I agree with Hache, in that style of games my favorite is Hedgewars, especially if you want to play alone against the pc (in that wormux has always been a duty)
Greetings.

Then I comment that such, Hedgewars is very good 🙂
I get away better because I see that there would be continuous fights if I get to play that, for a change hahaha
It's good but I like Hedgwars more for its graphics.
And it also has many more cool things! Don't leave anything behind, try it thoroughly, which is a genius 😀
It is the pure truth looking at the images are very similar I had the wormux
