Ailurus 10.2 available

Ailurus version 10.2 is now available. Ailurus is an application whose purpose is to make Linux easier to use

Among its functions:

  • Install / remove applications that are not in the official repositories.
  • Enable / disable third party repositories.
  • Show / hide My Computer, Home, Trash and Network icons
  • Displays information about BIOS, motherboard, CPU and battery
  • Configure the Nautilus thumbnail cache
  • Configure the Nautilus context menu
  • Configure Gnome Autorun Applications
  • Configure window behavior
  • Show / hide Gnome screen

and much more…

If you use Karmic you can install it with:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa: ailurus
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install ailurus

    You have to add the PPA "by hand":
    sudo gedit /etc/apt/sources.list
    And paste the following 2 lines:
    deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/ailurus/ppa/ubuntu jaunty main
    deb-src http://ppa.launchpad.net/ailurus/ppa/ubuntu jaunty main

    Then,
    sudo apt-key adv --keyserver keyserver.ubuntu.com --recv-keys 9A6FE242
