Apply the color scheme of our GTK theme to WINE

WINE apps don't look pretty on Linux (well, they don't really look very good on Windows either) but the script we share here will make the colors of the WINE apps match the color scheme of our GTK theme .

This script basically imports your current color scheme into the WINE registry, which makes it work with any theme. The end result is, for example, something like that.

To use it, download the script, give it execute permissions and run it:

chmod +x wine_colors_from_gtk.py
./wine_colors_from_gtk.py

Finally, close all WINE applications and reopen them. In case you change the GTK theme and want to update WINE, you just have to run the script again.

Note: It seems that this script does not work with some applications, such as MS Office. To revert the changes made by the script, edit the file ~ / .wine / user.reg and remove the entries under [Control PanelColors].
