Ardis: Round and Flat icons for KDE and other environments

Some time ago I told you about Flamini, a set of round icons for KDE which were pretty cool to tell the truth, but from my modest opinion, they fall far short of Ardis, another work by the same creator.

Ardis It is a set of various icons whose download file weighs around 22MB and which are really beautiful, as they combine the Flat trend (which is what is being worn now) with those thrown shadows that were fashionable for so long. I use them from time to time to create featured images on the blog, as in the case of this article.

Although Ardis looks beautiful in KDE, it can also be used in GNOME, XFCE, and LXDE. Ardis is a project that is influenced by the theme numix utouchicon, Simple Icon Theme y Flamini. What I like the most is that when we see the icons from a distance, they have a very nice relief effect, as if they were coming off the screen.

This set of icons is still in beta, because according to its author there is a lot of work to do to complete it, so he asks us to be patient and send him any feedback to his email kotus.works en gmail point on.

Install Ardis

The first thing we will do is download the set of icons from the following link:

Download Ardis

En KDE we are going to System Preferences »Application Appearance» Icons and click on the button Install theme file, we look for the file that we downloaded and that's it. It really looks pretty:
