Attach files in Gmail

Email services stopped being just that a long time ago. Now you can not only send text-only emails, you can also add images to the text and attach all the files you want (yes, with some limitations). Sending attachments through Gmail has no complications, what's more, it's almost the same as enviar a correo electrónico just add the files. You decide if you only want to send the files or attach them as part of an email you are writing.

If you want to send files through Gmail, when you are preparing the email you want to send, click on the "Attach files" button. Normally you do not find this text but you see a small 'clip' very close to the "Send" button to send the email.

Once you click on the clip, a browser window will open where you can see the files and folders on your computer. There will be where you see and choose the files you want to send through Gmail. You can select one by one or select several while holding down the “Control” (Ctrl) button.

Once the files are selected, you just have to click on the "Open" button and they will begin to load into the gmail mail, preparing to be sent through the email system. In the email you will see how the upload process is progressing and the size of each file. Once they finish loading you can send the email with the corresponding attachments.

If you have doubts about whether it has been sent or not, you just have to go to the sent emails folder and open the one you just sent. If you see the files in the email, they have been sent successfully.

As always, we complement this publication with the link to the official Gmail information on how to attach files to your email, we hope that all your questions will be resolved. Click here for more information on attaching files in Gmail.
