I'm between Arch and Debian since I have to start over because they broke into my house to steal and among the many things they took was my computer. to configure Debian in a minimal installation .... I'm sure I lean towards the Debian derivative

When you say improvements in broadcom, what do you mean ???

Do you mean that my broadcom 4318 with wifi will go away ????

And the monitor mode, will I go ????

Archbang is a great way to get a fully functional Arch in record time. At least it helped me to get started, although I later decided to go through the whole process with Arch.

Thanks to Archbang, I also started in Arch. In fact, I'm going to download it to have it on hand as a live CD in case my Arch takes over (which sometimes happens) 😛

I tried it and I really liked it, but I was never able to change the screen resolution, or manage to activate the quick access buttons on my laptop keyboard.

I just installed it, the resolution with the free drivers recognized me perfectly.
