Eddy Ernesto del Valle Pino author of Repoman_cli He sent me version 1.3 of this magnificent script created in Python to create custom repositories in Ubuntu/Debian and take them home.
Repoman_cli is the script that runs below PSC (Portable Software Center) of which already we talked before. In this version the author tells me that he has optimized the code so that it consumes fewer resources when resolving the dependencies, since previously it consumed some 100 Mb. The changes have been the following:
- Code optimization.
- Memory consumption reduction.
- Increased speed when resolving package dependencies.
The Script is executed in console as is logical and you can see how to use it by putting:
./repoman_cli.py --help
I must clarify that this version of repoman is incompatible with the PSC, since the one that was distributed also had one thing that took away flexibility and that is that it created the repository where the program itself was.
You can download it from this link.

Thanks for reporting it, now I fix it 😀
I can not download it, if someone could I ask you to please send it to me fdgonzalez@uci.cu
Very useful!
Hmmm, great, it may come in handy to me one day 🙂
Sorry to revive an old theme but could you give me a link to download it? (Neither the download link nor the one on the web works for me) And I also wanted to know if you can download a repository with a different architecture than the one on the machine with the Internet
True ... AptonCD is a horror for new users (and in its installation you need internet at some point, I don't have internet) or another program of the same type but still functional
PS: sorry for doing necromancy
I have tried to download repoman from the link and it does not appear, how can I get this program? Thanks in advance
