Blu is the first Smartphone company founded by a Latin American, it is based in Florida, United States. It was founded in 2009 and was formally introduced in 2011, since then it has had a rapid expansion throughout Latin America.
It currently only has a presence in the American continent, but in Central and South America it has managed to expand rapidly, becoming one of the most popular manufacturers thanks to its affordable prices. In Mexico and the United States it has become very popular but in both countries it is not yet accepted by all distributors.
