Mentions Moritz Muehlenhoff, one of the lead developers on the Debian team.

LTS versions will be supported until June 6, 2020

After June 17, LTS (Long Term Support) versions will continue to receive support for various essential packages and architectures for two more years until June 6, 2020 when Debian 8 reaches the end of its journey and is not available for download. official (although as always, it can be downloaded from external sources).

Among the supported architectures we can mention 32-bit (i386), 64-bit (amd64), Armel and ARMhf. Of course, anyone who wants to download and use Debian 8 after June 17 should know that the update support is done by a group of volunteers and not by the Debian security team.
