Every time you play a video, do you have problems pausing it, fast-forwarding it, etc.? Is the Flash player in Firefox / Chromium ignoring your desperate clicks?
The solution is so, so simple that I don't understand how it is still there, annoying users as one. 🙂 |
- Press ALT + F2 and enter
- gksudo gedit / usr / lib / nspluginwrapper / i386 / linux / npviewer
- add the following before the last line from the open file
- export GDK_NATIVE_WINDOWS = 1
- Guard.
- Restart your favorite browser.
Hi Javier! I suggest you read this other post to learn how to search for programs in your Debian
http://usemoslinux.blogspot.com/2010/05/como-en...
I would try with the locate command.
locate npviewer
Cheers! Paul.
Well, I would say that it only applies to 64-bit Ubuntu, since 32-bit users do not need to install Flash through the nspluginwrapper and, therefore, that file does not exist on our system.
I can't find that file in debian, what do I do?
How about Javier, I got how to make debian run well, I use squeeze, so you have to install this plugin by console
#aptitude install flashplugin-nonfree
this problem only happened to me with the chrome of the rest in the others it worked and now if it works at 100%… .. you can tell me anything to know….
For those who have debian I use squeeze so they have to install this plugin by console
#aptitude install flashplugin-nonfree
then they kill the browser process and start again and voila ...
this problem only happened to me with the chrome of the rest in the others it worked and now if it works at 100%… .. you can tell me anything to know….
Thank you very much for the contribution !!
A big hug! Paul.

It also applies to 64bits?

Sep. Applies to 64 bits too. At least I have Ubuntu 64 bits and it worked for me. Hug! Paul.
Good data but ...
Not everyone uses Gnome or edits with gedit, which is a graphical application. To give it a more generic character I would put something like: »edit the XXXX file with your preferred editor» or give the different options.
regards!
Hello! You're right, it happens that if I start doing that for each post (putting the different commands for the different text editors) I go crazy. I put one, whoever prefers another is supposed to know how to use it. 🙂 Not the best, but hey…
Hey, Thanks for commenting! A greeting! Paul.
Attentive to your answer, I will tell you that the BIG mistake of those who know a discipline and intend to teach something about it, is to think that others know as much as he does and take things for granted.
This is how the large percentage of howtos and tutorials that you find on the web are confusing and do little to help newbies. Better little and of course, than a lot and inconsistent. Sure, it's my opinion ...
A hug!
