The renowned hard drive factory LaCie has presented its two new hard drives designed by the exclusive and world-renowned Philippe Starck, the magma motif discs, elegantly sculpted. They have a 3mm aluminum shell, with Starck's signature in orange LED indicating drive status; the discs have a touch interface is customizable. These units are compatible with either Mac or PC, are connected by USB, has 1TB and 2TB capacities with the option of a backup.
The 320GB capacity portable model is on sale for $ 100 and the 500GB capacity portable model costs $ 140.
